And remember the 599rwhp is on a Mustang dyno. The owners of this dyno said it reads about 11% low to a typical dyno. I know this is disputed by some

The meth is only used for safety. Not for performance. That is the way I had them set it up

It was nice meeting you Jeff. You have one nice looking car. I am glad you were able to drive my car. I hope it helps with your decision. BTW my radar was on mute when we went on the test drive. I got a ticket that night on the sun coast. I am glad we didn't find that out at 140.

Jason, sorry about the ticket!! Getting stopped at 140 would have been a bummer. Hope you were not going that fast. Your setup is bada$$. The drags on Jan23-24 will be great. Test & tune on Sat also. Times posted, Maybe go both days. I will be talking to you again soon. Thanks again.

Let us know how much boost you really see and if it feels much different. With the 3.5" pulley I'm seeing 6Lbs until pretty close to shift point where it creeps up to 7 or so.
I had a chance to dial in the tune (on the street) and drive the car tonight. I now see about 8.5lbs of boost at 100% throttle with the smaller 3.25" pulley. Previously saw right at 7psi with the 3.5". First and second gear are pretty useless in 37 degree weather and I need to go widebody with better tires. The car definitely pulls harder through the gears. I couldn't stay in it long on the street but never saw beyond 67% injector duty cycle with the new 65lb injectors. Between the extra boost and the very cool temps I definitely feel the upgrade...my butt dyno is smiling!

8.5 lbs sounds like it delivered as expected. Glad you got the incremental difference in boost and performance you were looking for.

My injectors came today so I can get my duty cycle back where I want it too. I've really got to leave my 3.25" pulley on the shelf and not get greedy. With the A6 I need to be a little more conservative.

Thanks, I was curious what it looked like internally with the top off.

I have a question, my install will have the 3.5" pulley so from your experience as noted above, I should be around 7 psi boost. I have the NPP exhaust installed and plan to have AR Headers installed, not for more hp which there will be, but to decrease the boost due to better flow. I could go with a smaller diameter pulley to bring the boost up but my interest is the lower boost to keep my Vette as reliable as possible not more hp so I will probably stay with the 3.5" pulley.

Do you have any idea or could you make an educated guess through your experience as to how much lower the 7 psi will drop with everything remaining the same except for adding the ARH's? I know that Callaway, at least on Magnuson SC (I'm not sure what it is for the TVS) was somewhere around 5-6 psi for maximum reliability.

My dyno tune will tell me but that is off another couple of weeks and I am curious to know now.

Any number that I would give you would be a W.A.G. at best. I can tell you though that my LS3 with mild cam and 1 7/8" headers sees 8.5-9~ish with the 3.25" pulley. Forum member CTHusker sees nearly that much (nearly 8lbs if I remember correctly) with his otherwise stock LS2 with manifolds on a 3.875" pulley.

You're memory is excellent Ken! I'm getting just a tad over 8 psi with the 3.875 pulley and otherwise completely stock. That produced almost 525 rwhp which isn't bad. No it's the monster builds like so many want but good enough to have a lot of fun with.....

So I assume you are changing out your fuel pump using the 3.5 pulley? Are you going with a BAP or Z06 pump? Just curious......

Z06 pump. I want the best reliability I can achieve under the circumstances and although many have had excellent success with a BAP, a Z06 pump gives me a more comfortable feeling.

I would not use a BAP myself. "IF" I go to the 3.5 pulley I'll be installing a Z06 pump... it's still if at the moment because I want to be sure I want the extra power..... Mine runs and drives great... do not want to be breaken things in the power train with another 50 hp.... I'm at 525 rwhp now so if I get close to 600 it makes me wonder if it's worth doing... Anyway good luck on your install but you're in good hands with ECS!!

motorhead, when you took the top off of your e-force what did you torqe the screws to when you reinstalled it? Or did you just snug them down.

didnt mean to bring this thread back up but has there been any reliability issues? has anyone installed this on a completely stock corvette? does it change the exhaust tone? i cant seem to find the pricing on the site for some reason, and if anyone has a general labor install price that would help as well

there are quite a few of us on the forum that have installed the e-force on a completely stock vette- me for one (08 vert)

yes, there was a little deeper exhaust tone change on the NPP at least to my ears.

Motorhead-47 is very knowledgeable about the e-force and has had one on his car for over a year. He also has header/cam.

Mine has been installed for 6months with no issues. It is still stock and I plan to keep it that way- at least for now.
