Default Is it worth putting headers on Procharger???

I already have pro charger installed i picked up a set of dynamaxx 1"7/8 headers with x pipe and high flow cats ,used great deal couldent pass up, anyways as of right now i am at 500 RWHP(on mustang dyno) with 7psi with just the procharger (P1sc1)and corsa catbacks,if i do headers i am looking at getting a retune 500.00 or more, smaller pully to keep my boost at 7psi 80.00, misc probally 100.00 and labor for header installation anywhere from 300.00 to 450.00 i figure and probally ceramic coating headers 250.00??? how much will i gain and is it worth it?? total around 1200.00 give or take

maybe a gain of 20 rwhp, the more flow thru your motor the more power. I would do the Headers with out question. The coating is good for keeping the header heat inside the headers and out of your engine bay. Horsepower is all about how much do you want to spend. Do it you will be happy with the new rummble of your car and the extra power

I started with nearly the same mods as you have (P1SC at 5.5lbs, cat-back exhaust). I added 1 7/8" American Racing (ceramic coated) and catted x-pipe.

I went from 490 rwhp/450rwtq to 532rwhp/428rwtq, both on a Dynojet. Picked up HP, but lost some torque. The throttle response changed drastically for the better!

A stock engine will see gains of 20+ HP, forced induction a good bit more.

Headers are definatly worth it. Always a nice improvement on supercharged cars.
