Tire technology keeps being updated so what tires would you go with today on a weekender C6 with 560 RWHP Supercharged A6. I want to stay with stock rims, but wold not mind going a little wider tire in the rear?

If you are not going to drive in the rain then a pair of Mickey Thomson drag radials will hook much better than most.

I don't think M/T makes a drag radial that will fit stock C6 sizes. I am at 550 rwhp with an A6 and looking to upgrade rubber as well. After hours of research, I have come to the following two conclusions for an extreme summer tire that will give all around performance, plus lots of grip. And by the way, I don't think anything will dead hook with this kind of power:

Nitto Invo: either a 285/35/19 or 305/30/19 rears

or

Bridgestone RE11: 285/35/19 or 305/30/19 rears

I am leading towards the 285's for two reasons. Number 1, every tire manufacturer rates a 305 with a minimum 10.5 inch wheel, although a lot of people are using it on their stock 10"rim. Number 2, I am afraid the 305 will look bulgy on the 10"s, and I have heard you will lose some cornering with this combination.

your right if you stay with 19,s you can not get a M\T in a 19" but in an 18" they will dead hook with 675 rwhp.

the nitto nt05r is due out soon, probably the best solution for keeping the stock wheels.

I am also making 560whp, but run a pair of 18inch replicas with MT's, and they hook

Using the MT 345 drag radial would be a great excuse to do a widebody conversion to you c6 guys...

or you can use the non R version, the NT05 which is also a crazy summer tire.
