Default Wolfe Race Craft - What to do..

I ordered my 6point cage in early Oct.. They have been telling me since 12-5 that it has been at the powder coater.. I am sick of waiting.. I have called them many times, get the same answer "it is at the powder coater, I will call him to see when it will be done and call you back" and they never call me back.. I have a good deal on a pfadt 6point for the same price except they ahve my CC # and I am affraid that someday they may charge me.. Can any vendor tell me what my options are here.. I am afraid if I go with a pfadt that 2 months down the road they may actually call me back and say they have it ready.. Would I be on the hook for payment on that?

Just call an cancel the transaction. If they agee it should be a done deal. I just picked up a Pfadt 6 point last month. It was a less than the
Wolfe. Now I just need some time to work on my own car.

Wolfe is not some run of the mill shop.they have plenty of work.I can tell you that if you cancel your order they aren't going to charge your card.I feel for you on it taking long. You get what you pay for though. Call and speak to David himself. I'm sure he will make right.

In this day and age, it sucks that there's no better communication. How much time would it take to break off an Email or Pm and let you know what's really going on. Apparently, that's how things are in this industry. Why....I'm not sure. I guess it's standard operating proceedure to not give a damn on the vendor's part once the commitment is made on the customer's part. I've been on the hook for thousands and couldn't get a reply from the folks that had my money. That ain't right. Never got screwed, but often wondered what was going on. A simple email or pm with a truthful answer would have surficed. But noooooooo....they're too busy.

Sorry to hear this.
I bought a 5 pt roll bar from Wolfe a while back. I received it, but over 12 weeks late. They promised 10% off to keep the order when I threatened to cancel. I called for three more months to get the 10% credit but never saw it.
My 5 pt was painted, not powdercoated.
I do feel it's a good product.

Wolfe makes a great product, but they are always swamped with work. I hope everything works out for you. If you're willing to wait it out, you won't be disappointed with the product.

lol, they told me the samething.. I cancelled my order but then they notified me a few weeks ago that it was finished if I still wanted it.. Worst customer service I have ever received since I went to the wafflehouse at 3am a few years back.. They may have a good product but the least they can do is be honest and have some form of communication.. it is not very hard to drop a 30sec email to a client

sidenote - they may give you mine.. would not be surprised.. it is done.. 6 pointer.. hopefully yours will not take 3 months..
