Default Bone Stock M6 LS3 w/ A&A Supercharger Dyno

Bone Stock 09 M6 LS3 w/ A&A Supercharger Dyno
We just delivered this Vette to a customer today. His objective was to get a nice bump in HP without compromising the durability and longevity of the engine
Here are the details of the vehicle and tune
-100% bone stock.. no headers, no exhaust
-7.5 PSI of Boost

Here's a couple of Dyno Sheets.. the uncorrected sheet shows exactly what the car was making at the time the car ran on the dyno... nice cold 50" weather early in the moring . The 2nd sheet is the SAE corrected one.

Not really that impressive when you consider a C5 Z06 with the same boost, typically pushes the same if not more power on a smaller displacement.

I would have thought the numbers would be higher.

I can't post any pics because the customer wants his car to be a sleeper

Like Steve said... we only have 91 octane in California and because of that we can only put so much timing into the tune. California has real bad gas with alot of detergent so we rather error on the side of caution and make sure our customers will have ALOT of miles without having to rebuild their engines... getting an extra 40HP can get real expensive if the motor pops. Most customers are not willing to risk getting a new engine to get an extra 40HP... the AF on this tune is about 11.37 so it's pretty safe

BTW, if the customer decided to get a new exhaust, Long tube headers he would easily pick up another 20-30RWHP with a retune.

If we had 94 octane we should be able to get another 30RWHP

30 more over a 91 tune?

does any state still have 94? we used to have Sunoco 94 around NY, but I have not seen it in years.

Didn't know it was a CA car. I live in PA and we have access to 92, 93 or 94 pump gas depending on what gas station you go to.

Headers and good exhaust will help too. BTW, 550 RWHP is not bad, it's just that it is not extraordinary in any way, except maybe in California.

To much power isn't any good either on the street as you can't really get any traction. I see no real value in the big HP cars, except for bragging rights or track car set-up.

What REALLY amazes me is how many people spend a bunch of money on power and NEVER on BRAKES or SUSPENSION. People want to go faster but don't want to stop or handle better.

I have beefed up the suspension, brakes and drive train to handle the extra power. The stock vette brakes with some nice rotors, pads, and steel brake lines will be more than adequate.

Most important is a good set of sticky rubber, because without traction you're not going to stop either.

We brake for no one. JK - I thought the results looked great for an otherwise stock car.

Agree. 500+ at the wheels with stock drivability is all good. Yes, bigger #'s would be easy, but some folks aren't after every last pony. He can slam the hood and open it when he needs to check things. Otherwise, he can worry about politics, crazy women, and terrorism. His vette should be the last thing to worry about on his list...

I am one that has done all the above upgrades, along with a 6 point roll bar for some safety to make the wifey happy

You would think it would be making more boost. I have the 3.8
pulley and should be less boost. Instead I'm making more.
But the hp figure's look right with no headers. I have 9.03
max boost with 578/ 530 corrected rwhp/tq.
