Default Nitrous Experts Help!

I have my 06 z06 at a shop, installing a wet direct port nitrous system on my built engine. Is there anything I should mention to them before the install is complete.( If it was your car, what would you make sure was not left out)
Timing? Colder plugs? Run rich? Cylinder #7 should have a larger fuel jet?Progressive?Fuel?Safety?

Help me out,

Thanks Ed

Well you'll need the proper plugs, and a proper tune checked with a wide-band at least. I would personally make sure the car had a window switch on it as well as a fuel pressure safety switch.

My question to you would be; Why doesn't the shop installing the kit know this stuff already? That would be my concern.

I'm sure they do, I just want to make sure we don't miss anything. I am installing every gadget and safety item I can think of, any input is much appreciated.

one addition to the setup you've decided on, add a NANO assist, instead of a b.s. Heater...

Sounds like you have a pretty good idea. Needing a larger fuel jet in number 7 should be determained by reading the spark plugs. I would not suggest using a larger fuel pill and not actually varifying by the plug its right.

Main things to concider other than parts area.
Fuel delivery, Airfuel, spark plug choice, timing.

#7 will become less of a concern if u provide a coolant cross-over and tee in to the cross-over in the front. The #7 issue lies in coolant cavitaion/flow for the #7 cyl, NOT in airflow making that cyl. lean. Jetting #7 fatter helps, but is the band-aid IMHO

Good suggestion, but that bottle too will need filling, I will sometimes use 2 bottles tee-ed together both heated, this way we still have over 900psi at the end of the pass in high gear. NANO is very sweet though..

The Texas Mile guy is Mike Z. He had two kits, a plate and a stand alone direct port. I think it was total 350 shot, but I am not for sure.
