What is the smallest pulley size people have ran safely and the outcomes as far as power. Seems no one has really pushed the limits of the V2si and just opted to upsize to T trim, Ysi etc.

I don't think you will find a definitive answer since safe is a relative term and I cannot remember if your engine is forged. If it is, you can pulley it down until you max the blower, if not 8lbs would probably be the max I would go with any kind of longevity. The increased heat on a NA spring pack is the killer. They are gapped smaller than blower cars and have the tendacy to close the gap under extreme heat. When that happens, the piston sticks and breaks - game over. That is what happened to me at 10lbs / 600hp, so I can tell you that it was not safe, although I was looking for an excuse to build a forged engine.
If you go to Vortech website, they have an impeller speed calculator. LS2 stock crank pulley is 7.5in diameter, with a blower 3.4 pulley at 6500rpm is just under the recommend max rated impeller speed for the V2 or V3 si models. But you can alway overspin it. So if you really wanted to push it hard, over spin it with a 3.2 or 3.0 pulley or go with an 8 inch crank pulley.

Yea already went through all that I would be 10k overlimit recommended at a 7k redline with a 3.25 8 rib pulley. Looking for real world experience though..
Doesnt matter now though because I ordered a Ysi from Andy last nite. But I am still curious to see what others with similar combos are running. Thanks

MRBIG made 781rwhp with his P1sc which flows the same CFM as Vortechs T-trim V2 models, but this was overspinng some. I think a V2si would probably make around 700rwhp before having to overspin it. And a V2 t-trim could probably make roughly 750rwhp before overspinning it.

Good job! I have the 3.8 pulley and 9psi plus boost with a V-3 with more than 578rwhp and 530rwtq. So the 3.4 is two steps smaller. I would change pulleys but since the addition of A&A's new intake. I feel I'm over 600 rwhp and still safe. I'm going to stick with the 3.8 I'm more than satisfied! I think the V-3 is plenty big since I can go
two sizes smaller pulley yet. While still being in the sweet spot as far as efficiency (78 percent)
