Check this out - it's making over 1,000whp on 93 octane through the DM Big Mouth air bridge. If I take my foot off the gas in first, it rolls without bucking. There are no problems with stalling, no flat spots whatsoever and the power comes on like a freight train. What else could you possibly ask for in a tune...a big supercharged lope. Sure I will take it - I bet you would too.
There is always some room for improvement for sure. However, when build one of these and use 1000cc @ 3 bar injectors and move to a huge MAF/housing you loose a TON of resolution down low. There is no way around it.
Couple that with a F-1R that is being spun over max impeller speed (huge drag at low engine speeds) and a cam with almost 260 degrees of duration, it's not exactly a walk in the park to tune.
Taylor, I like it just the way it is and wouldn't mind if it loped like that all the time. Trust me - it sounds wicked. Cannot wait to see what dropping down to a 3.4" pulley does for it tomorrow.
sounds like a vacuum leak. sorry. i wouldn't be happy with that. maybe time to SD if your loosing too much resolution down low on the maf.
too many changes to the weather in Texas 85* half of a day then 32*, that's why they say "If you don't like the weather in Texas, give it 5 minutes" The MAF makes D.D.ing MUCH!!!!!! better for us...
wait when my car idled like that it stayed in the shop for a month till we figured it out, does ur voltage not fluctuate with the rpm fluctuation, there is DEFINITELY something NOT right over there.

Taylor, something doesnt sound right here, there are so many other cars with similar configurations that IDLE, and not jump around like that.
I dont know how much drag the supercharger is introducing to the engine, but at idle with the BOV open and air the blower air vented, should make the supercharger spin "freely" - to an extent.
we had a couple do the same. i see if they can remember what they did to fix it. one was a ls2 blower car, cam only vette and then 427 in c5 z06...they all did the exact same thing. ran fine other then that but pull up to a light and it wud rev 500 rpm then drop, rev then drop.....
I did not realize you kept maf tho!!! that is awesome with 1000rwhp
just checked again, whats with the very low voltage??
ill tell you my car did EXACTLY the same, dont ask me why, but when we took the alternator cable off, idle smoothed out, every single time. You can also try to disable generator f-terminal from HPTuners to see (it might be the same problem as mine), after we figured out they were the 80lbs injectors causing this, no idea why. Switched to 95lbs lowz injectors with a driver box, that cleared out the idle issue.
