Default True cost of the build

Hello, im new to this forum so first off i just wanna say hi to everyone. Now i got a few questions.

Im seriously considering getting into a c6 z06 in the near future. However, Im from the euro scene and do not have a whole lot of knowledge about vettes.

What im wondering is what a TT or S/C build on a z06 really costs. Not just for the parts, but for everything you need to have a streetable car thats reliable. Including labor and all supporting mods.

What would i expect to pay for both a TT build or a S/C build at:

600hp? (Probably can do this N/A?)

750hp?

800hp?

900hp?

1000hp?

Ive heard that the ls7's have thin cylinder walls so i want the cost with them sleeved and forged internals.

Thanks a lot for any information.

A good start might be to find a qualified shop close to you that has had some exposure on this forum....do a SEARCH on this forum.
Establish your specific goals then Contact them with your goals. Then be sure to listen...especially if it a proven good vendor.
The sky is the limit as to how much money you wanna spend.

My first question would be, what type of driving do you plan on doing with the car? Track / street / autocross? All require different componets to sustain more power.

I had a similar question and I got a reference in Europe:

Every option you are interested is listed here. The systems are complete and make the advertised power at a minimum.

id say mostly street driving with a couple days a year at the strip. I wouldnt want something that is completely dedicated to the strip or track. i want a very streetable car.

i would want to go with a twin turbo but im assuming the s/c route would be a little less expensive.

and to the guy that told me to "search," i have and ive learned alot. but there are many costs that aren't brought up when people talk about their build.

If i was gonna pinpoint a number i would say 800 hp, s/c or tt.

Their different costs for parts for every different car and i was just looking for some input from someone who had experience.

thanks

Shoot me an email if you would like to get more in depth on this subject. If you can decide on a horsepower figure you are wanting to make and figure out how much money you have to spend, we can help you with the rest.

There are several "great" shops on this forum. When I say great, I mean these guys take these matters from an engineering and science point of view, i.e. Taylor @ DallasPerfomance or Doug @ EastCoastSuperCharging and design system as total solution. But it's really important to be close to one these shops when you're running 800 HP.

Good luck!

but if i do decide to get the z06 im located in central jersey so i gotta be right next to you

Where you're located, you're lucky to be near ECS. Great company!

For the money, Z06 is the best car money can buy!
