Looking to build the C6 Z06 427 motor, I need professional opinions only or experienced opinions only, My GOAL is to try and make at least 900rwhp with dual stage direct fogger set-up and stane alone fuel system of course.

Who and where and what should i do to the block itself? I dont want the 100lb LSX block.

What crank? rods? pistons?

I am sure many will say if your going to stay with the LS7 block, to sleeve it. The LS7 crank is already forged steel, I see no reason to replace it. Just get a quality set of pistons, rods, bearings, and a good ring pack and you should be good to go. Popular vendors for each are Weisco, Diamond, Callies, ACL, Total-seal, etc. As always, a builder who is very well known in the LSX world with knowledge of your goal's/setup will be required to make it all work in harmony.

Here is a 447 we just built for our customer from quebec. He went 9.3 on a stock LS7 on a 250 shot. This is goin to be out next 8 second car. We are in the process of building a TT C6Z also that will be in the 8's. So we will have a supercharged, Nitrous, and Turbo 8 Second Packages.

Good luck on trying to balance a stock crank with a forged aftermarket rod. The $ you spend on the balance job, just buy u a new crank!!!

If I were going with an iron block, it would have to be making 1500-2000 rwhp other then that, it's overkill!!!

My .02
