Default Just a little nudge to the ET bar, ECS Paxton = 8.70 @ 157

Come guys, I'm not even making throttle adjustments anymore until someone comes knockin' so come on Fran, get a cage in that monster and get it out there! Atomic, we are close in power, lay it down!!

I also reached a personal goal of mine, which was to cut a 1.2 60' time!! (1.28) which is the first C5/C6 IRS to hit the 1.2's!!

We are putting together a package price for the recipe for the suspension necessary to do that. We will be offering install packages as well, which includes corner weighing the car and the complete set up, along with explaining how to make the adjustments necessary. Feel free to call the shop if you are interested.

Doug, have you put any info for the rear end in a summary form somewhere. Like what half shafts, drive shaft, suspension, type of upgraded diff, etc.
If not, without giving anything away, could you do that here?

No prob! I'm not one to with hold info. (lets face it, I want to sell them to everyone)

It is a std C5Z case, built here, 3.42 gears with our spool kit installed and both hardened shafts, and the gears are cryo treated same as all our rear builds.

Both flywheels have been upgraded, along with the splined hub that the torque tube slides into. The driveshaft is presently our HD driveshaft with universal joints, but I have a Pfadt Carbon fiber driveshaft going in when I have time to see how that holds up. Ours is simply beefy, but with beefy comes weight, Pfadt says we are good to hold the power with their lightweight set up so I'm going to give it a try.

The trans is our power glide conversion which is a straight bolt in swap that can be done in a day. That includes the rear brace etc.

We have HD axles and hubs mated to our 15" spindle kit, with our axle loops as per NHRA rule.

The rest of the suspension is Pfadt drag products, coil overs-sway bar-engine and trans mounts and spherical bearings. Corner weighted, aligned, and set up here.

Any other questions let me know.

Nice work!!!!

The Pfadt Carbon Shaft is rated to 2350 ft/lbs! We cycled it to 1350 ft/lbs over 500,000 times!!

Get that thing in the car!! It will help the 60 ft for sure!!! 1.19??

This car is running the Pfadt Drag 2 package that includes our Drag Spec Coil Overs, Drag Rear Sway Bar and Spherical C-Arm Bearings. It also has our Engine Mounts and Tran/Diff Mount.

What throttle % are you at now?

Congrats again to the entire ECS crew for an amazing build!

Kind regards,

Making the power is the easy part. Laying it down is not.

Great work Guy's, Novi's rule!

We will have a full kit price up shortly Mike, next week sometime I'll post it up in the drag racing.

Yup, we have the trans set up and brackets completed already for the C6 ZO6, which requires a different custom shaft. We started with the C5 rear so we had gearing options, but I run a 3.42 now and will probably switch to the C6Z rear and cradle when the time comes for a Warhawk block and a larger head unit.

I'm glad we started that way so if someone wants the glide set up from us, we know exactly what gear is needed for their power set up and expected ET, so there is no wasted time or money for the customer.
7's with an IRS sounds like a nice future goal.
