Default IPS Custom TT setup pulls 1132RWHP through a 4L80e!

That's right! we just got done dyno tuning the new setup!

We replaced the APS TT setup (nothing is left from APS at all now!) with a new fully customized IPS TT setup.

We made a few passes and the best one was 1132RWHP. We backed it down a bit and will be racing on the 1075RWHP version.

All of this was done through a 4L80e with an UN- Locked converter!

Dyno graph coming soon...

tons of pictures here

I have multiple dyno pulls that were over 1100rwhp. We actually settled on a tune that was on the graph below because of how smooth the curve is.

We have some power left on the table since we are still only at 10 degrees of timing!

What you see in the above graph is my setup that I have been runing this year (APS) through the 4L80e with a peak power of 925rwhp compared against the new setup (IPS Twin Turbo) through the 4L80e with a peak power of 1072!

So, in short... I WAS running 9.04@157 on the old setup...

Results from the new setup comming to a track near me soon!

Lots and lots of time and R&D went into the improvements you see in the graph above and we are very pleased with the results from our prototype kit. We were hoping for bigger numbers but with the converter un-locked and with the 4L80 robbing as much power as it does we are still quite happy with the gains over the old APS set-up. I think we had 5 or 6 pulls all over 1100rwhp which isn't bad at all.

I would love to see what this set-up would make through a 6-speed

Track times to come soon and I can't wait to see what this car makes on the big-end now

The turbos are still in the same general area as with the APS kit (Not a rear-mount kit or anything). The turbos out-flow the APS 35Rs at bigger boost levels and yet still offer great low-end response as well.

10 degrees because of the setup... we are still tuning on the car.

The tran's has been great! I didn't brace it when I put it in at first and seperated the rear from the trans on a lauch once. That caused some issues but the internals were fine.

For big power applications (over 800rwhp) I would recommend the RPMtransmissions 4L80e. Under 800rwhp I would use the more effecient and lighter 4L60e.

Because they apprieciate the heads staying on the motor!

Great job guys!! Lean into the timing slowly like I have been doing with throttle, with that kind of power there's no need to rush into it!

Are you guys planning on making it to the LSX shootout? It would be nice to line em' up! I think I'm going to have some competition!!
