Default Ethanol and supercharging

Rumor around my part of the country is that all gas will have a 10% ethanol content within 90 days. Costco even has the decals ready to install on their pumps. Will this have any effect on our supercharged cars?

Not from my experience... nothing but positive results here. What issues are you having?

Question: Since ethanol is much higher in octane all things equal the octane of the final product should go higher... why is it not?

I am guessing the base product (gasoline) octane is lower.
