I am made 18# without slippage using the ProCharger Bracket an 8-rib and a Gates green belt.

I know you guys will get it figured out, but you guys should seriously think about the A&A unit... It was a long road for me trying to quell belt slip, and we finally did it...
Keep up the good work guys!!!
The F-1R requires a lot more power to turn it than the smaller blowers do. It will be interesting to see how yours works out.
Cartek has a pulley arrangement coming out for the Corvettes that runs the blower with a dedicated belt. The accessories run off a separate belt. This puts less strain on the alternator and power steering brackets, and Cartec told Jordan that from what they have seen, most of the belt slippage from the Corvette system being run off of one belt occurs at the crank pulley. Only time will tell, as Jordan has one on order with them. If it doesn't work, Cartec is also coming out with a cog system that would still use the same parts that Jordan bought from them. We have heard of the cog systems that run everything on one belt breaking the alternator and power steering brackets, so Cartek may be on to something here. Bob

The parts should be on their way shortly. The pulley setup is made by "Hormilla Perf. Eng.", that is who holds the patents on the design. We as Cartek are just a distributor for the kit.

We'll have some pics in a thread for these new pieces over the weekend, plus have it up on our website. So stay tuned.

Remember that you have a Dallas Performance modified ProCharger bracket. It has some special anti-slip juju

It is worth mentioning that most of the problems associated with Mr.Big's PC bracket were because he had the earliest version on the ProCharger bracket which had a very poor wrap on the head unit pulley and an inferior tensioner to the later PC brackets...

That makes sense because we have used the ProCharger Stage 11 bracket on many other Corvettes without having slippage problems, up through 16 psi with an Innovators West oversize balancer.

Awesome, thanks Max! I take it they are an offshoot of Cartek as that is Julian's and your last name. Bob

It’s owned by the Hormilla family, it’s a completely separate company.

Cool! We're anxious to try it out, it's a great idea getting the accessories separated from the blower! Bob

Thanks

No pics of it installed in a C6, but it will fit. The kit is the same with any belt drive system from crankshaft to blower pulley(6 rib, 8 rib, 10 rib, 12 rib, cog drive, etc). It's up to you to put on whatever drive it is that you want between the crank shaft and blower. That's one of the many benefits of this system.

Don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.
