Hi i'm planning on building a low compression forged and sleeved 427 LS2 with an MP122 with the smallest pulley I can find. I loooove the maggie but roots style blowers tend to die out up top. So do you guys think it would be safe to run a something like a 25 to 50 shot on the motor. I also heard that spray will mess up the rotors in the maggie is this true?
Such a small shot, you probably would barely feel it at top RPMS.
Build the blower motor right, shouldn't need nitrous. If you still need more power it's going to take a bigger shot than that to give it any real grunt.

I'm just looking for a small edge just in case I run into any Veyrons but seriously do you think that it will mess up the rotors? thanks
I would not use the ls2 sleeved to get to 427 with the m122. you might give LPE A CALL I NOW HAVE THE LS7 IN THE CAR WITH THE MAGGIE 122. I do not think they would do a ls2 sleeved 427 with a boost.

Do you think an LSX iron block would work. I cant really pay the 15 grand to get an LS7 from GM

no need to go LSX. ls7s have been run to over 1000rwhp by several people. sleaved LS2 would also work, or even a wet sleved LS1. as long as the works done right then there is no reason they should work.
also have you thought about a 402?? they work well and litterally hundereds of people run them some with LOTS of boost!
as for the spray on top of the Maggie, i say go for it! will help with the intake temps as well as giving you some more power higher up!

Chris.
Ok thanks thats what I needed to hear. I think I am going to go with the sleeved LS2 402.

why are you going to sleave the LS2 if you are only after 402?? just run a stroker crank. LB is pushing over 1000rwhp on his twin turbo C5 with a LS2 402 as are several others.

Chris.
I am looking at just buying the whole Lunati kit which needs to be bored .030 over to get a 408. Also I'm never going to be able to afford another vette anytime soon and I am probably going to keep this car for the rest of my life. So i need the added strength that the iron sleeves would give me. You might be able to get 1000 whp out of a non-sleeved block but will it last 40+ years.

Also blue racer c6 told me that a sleeved LS2 427 might not hold it and I cant afford to switch blocks.
