I'm a dealer and have installed two units on cars (non-vettes) and they are the best at controlling, metering and mapping Alky/Water I've ever seen.
FJO Propaganda
The use of water and methanol to control detonation in high compression or boosted engines is a time proven technology. This advanced product is engineered to deliver a fine mist that can be precisely metered based on MAP PSI, TPS, RPM, and Fuel injector duty-cycle. With the use of 1 and 2 dimensional maps, it is possible to program the controller to deliver exactly the correct amount of spray without the risk of flooding the combustion chamber. Our unique nozzle-solenoid design allows for instant control and delivers a mist so fine that complete evaporation is almost instantaneous. This results in a more effective use of the spray without risk of condensation in the intake. The FJO Water Injection system is constructed using materials which are engineered for and unaffected by water and methanol. To avoid compromising the performance of the system, materials such as brass, raw or anodized aluminum, raw or plated steel, natural rubber, and silicone should not be used as they are not suitable for use with water and/or methanol.
Built to the same rugged specifications as all of FJO's products, this system sets a new standard in water injection.
Features
* Spray volume based on MAP PSI, TPS, RPM, and Fuel injector duty-cycle
* Integrated 48 PSI MAP sensor
* System is fully methanol rated
* Nozzle-solenoid delivers ultra-fine mist achieving instantaneous evaporation with precise metering (see video on FJO's website)
* High pressure 100% duty-cycle pump
* Easy to use graphic set-up menus using PC
* Closed loop operation with optional pressure transducer
* System is expandable

...and finally, from the installation on the above.....Howard writes...
"my twin TO4 setup should reach max airflow, around 80+ pounds per minute, between 17 and 23 psi so my grid is set accordingly. peak torque is denoted by the orange twin column between 6 and 6400 RPM. that's where you want max meth delivery and then tail it off as you reduce fuel"
"there are many inputs (TPS, Boost, RPM, AFR, injector duty cycle to name a few) each of which is tunable and each can trigger outputs such as reversion to wastegate spring boost pressure, fuel cut, multiple maps etc, etc."

Thanks Charlie!
I did talk to the Boys at Snow and while They agree with You about the 1000's of options for tuning the FJO kit has,They said most of the options won't apply ,and it's just over-kill!
They did say it was a good unit, but I still like The pumps from Sureflo!
I will most likely go with the Snow kit,it also has many new improvments!
George
Thanks Charlie!

I think you'd be surprised on how much better the meth kits work with all the bells and whistles.

As I typed earlier...Snow's MAF optioned kit is definitely a better choice than most when it comes to PD units.

Charlie,...I really do appreciate the honest answers to My questions!! {no one else answered!} You are in tis Business for the joy and not just for the $$!!
Charlie. Are there advantages for using a meth kit on a high compression N/A engine?
Roger,
YES!! Using the FJO kit we can spray based on throttle position, MAP, MAF, KR or AFR...just to mention a few of the tunable parameters.
So, when a high compression engine, running 91 octane being is hit with 120 octane meth - -it makes for a very agreeable (powerful) and happy high comp motor
BTW, Pistons are in the rotating assembly is already at the balancer!

Charlie. Lets talk about increasing the compression and installing the FJO kit on the SUPER BEAST. Great news about the pistons.

Just an FYI almost all kits talked about on this board use SureFlo pumps..
AIS
Alky control
Devils Own
ECS
FJO (with heat sink)
Snow
The list goes on... its the controller that makes the big difference.

Thanks Mike ,but after talking with the Guys at Snow,I have a pretty good feeling about Their kit!!
They may use the same pumps, but Snow has a "lifetime" warranty, and a controler that's very cool as well!

I've installed the ECS kit and the Snow kit, The Snow was hands down a lot easier to set up and understand what you are doing two pulls on the dyno and had it dialed in pretty much. The other kit worked great I liked the fittings from the pump to the nozzle, but a little too much to change the settings took me a lot longer to get it tuned correctly and a lot harder to hide the two controler boxes. Snow all the way IMO. Good Luck!
I talked to Big Bollas last year and he said the same thing, he installed both the Snow and ECS and said the Snow was much easier to setup and easier to tune. I plan to go with the Snow.
