Default 402 with blower, Anyone got a cam suggestion

Going with a 402 and blower. Going to start with 402 low compression then add blower, not really sure what cam to go with. Anyone got a good cam? Let me know thanks.

I've got a LS2 402, with a D-1 procharger. I’m currently running a MTI X1 cam. I’m right at 700 rwhp with a 4.00 pulley.

Our blower cam works very well. We used it in my 408 in my Camaro, which ran an 9.12 at 146 mph at Memphis LSX shootout on it's second outing.
Here is a video of this camshaft in action in a 2002 Z06.

Here is the camshaft. Bob

I've got a 224/236 117lsa on a 402, stock heads, 10 lbs. of boost, Novi 1500 with 8 rib, ECS Meth Kit, ECS Fuel system, and a very conservative tune, 730rwhp/675rwtq. Sounds pretty stock at idle and screams at wot.

It sure is!! I am in the process of finding a tire to "better handle" the power. If you're ever in Houston and want to hear or take a ride in the car, let me know!

.600 Lift. I have the Patriot springs and Comp hardened push rods in the heads. I did away with the Trick Flows. I am getting a set of LS2's custom ported by Greg Good, here in Houston. It is going to take some time, but he is the best out there.

Thanks! It took some time, but it is finally done...well, almost. The tuner that did the 2 bar, didn't give me a print out of the graph. So, I went to my shop to get the dyno done. On the way up, I got into a little run in with a 911 Turbo. I was accelerating, and the rpm's would spike and the car was real jerky. On the dyno, it started doing the same thing. They think it's either the clutch or belt slip and lastly the tune. However, it doesn't seem like belt slip. Oh well, everytime I get her out...she goes back in

Why are you getting rid of the TFS's? That thicker deck will do a lot for you if you ever put any real boost on it?

Jeff,

Not getting "rid" of them yet. When I can safely launch this thing efficiently, I will slap one of the two choices on. The power right now is kind of useless. When I get up to 5k in any of the 4 gears, it just spins the wheels out of control.

Are you going up to Otto's, in Sugarland, tomorrow? My brother and I are probably going to meet the gang up there...if weather permits.
