That's a broad spectrum of questions, but here's some answers.

1) D1SC ProCharger and headers
2) 600rwhp/520rwtq
3)10.5 psi
4) As reliable as stock if tuned correctly and not abused

P-1 6 PSI. Strongly recommend you have somesort of drain plug added to make changing the oil easier. There are some kits and ideas out there . Sucking thru the top..SUX. Access to drain plug pretty tight and for me impossible to reach. If you plan on more HP go with the D1. You have more flexibilty and there is NO hood mods required non with the P-1 also

sound unanimous, looks like good results with the procharger

I was leaning that way anyway, due to the technology

thanks

Do a search, there was a thread about a month ago asking which way to go.

I just had an ECS kit installed on my 06-A6, with a very conservative tune by Jason at Gulf Coast Performance. It made 462 RWHP on a Winpep7 Dynojet in 96 degree temps. I decided on the ECS kit because some felt they make better bracketing, use the Paxton Novi 1500 head unit and there were no real heating issues with it.

The thing you also should consider is you have the automatic, like I do, although yours has some modifications for 08 that should make it a little stronger and longer lasting with high HP. We won't see the RWHP numbers manual transmissions see, plus I was told to keep my RWHP around 500 and stay away from real sticky tires.

Others on here can tell you more, as I'm a newbie to this type of F/I. Oh, the current HP I have is real fun......... for now.

.
I agree completely. Procharger makes a nice unit, but 2 things steered me to the Paxton, 1. The procharger is very loud mechanically because of the type of internal gearing it uses (straight vs helical on the paxton), and 2.The oil changing issue. The Paxton uses the engine oil, so a regular oil change is all you have to do. I like the fact that I'm running constantly filtered oil to the unit as opposed to a few ounces of oil that is self contained in the procharger.

Either way you cant go wrong.

Good luck with your choice.

Take a look at some of the builds in my project car section.
Here is a bone stock 300 mile C6 that we installed an ATI ProCharger on. It made 323 rwhp stock, once the ProCharger was installed it made 470! http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=30

What would happen if you added headers and exhaust? Check out the 532 rwhp this '05 GTO is making, which uses the same LS2 engine.

Thats not just a stock bottom end, thats a 100% stock engine!
This is no garage queen either, it's seen 10's on street tires and has whooped 700+ rwhp cars on the street. (closed course naturally)

There are many reasons why one kit surpasses others and it does not all come down to the head unit. It is reason like this why both the fastest C5 ATI and Paxton come from our shop with our kits. BTW, thats 9.33 with the Paxton, and 9.62 with an F1, same set up, that has to say something.

Thanks for the kind words Sal.

A&A Corvette, IMO, has the absolute best centrifugal setup on the market.

Note that the pictures are older, so read the text. Andy also includes a integrated radiator/oil cooler in his kits.
