Default Interesting question I read in one of the threads

Does anyone know if it would take much work to make the APS Z06 TT kit work on the 2008 LS3 vettes?? I am trying to make a few plans and purchases but do not want to jump the gun to early. My car will be a 2008 auto z51 and my end goal is a very drivable and reliable 600rwhp. I took a good long hard look at Lingenfelters packages but they are kind of out of my price range 27k for a 620 flywheel hp package. For that amount I can buy an APS kit have it installed, forge my LS3, and also upgrade the A6 tranny with any tuning available for it still for less money than the LPE package. This is in NO WAY a shot at LPE, I think they do awesome work however just like I said a little out of my price range. If money were no otion Id get their 427 TT package and be done with it. Just wondering everyones opinions if I should just sit back and wait it out and see whats available for the LS3 and what seems to be the best choice. Also any and all info from the c6 APS guys would be greatly appreciated

I don't see why the APS C6 kit couldn't be made to work on your 08 LS3. The physical pieces are pretty much the same, there may be some minor changes needed like brackets, mounting tabs, etc, but nothing major. Fuel system upgrade is pretty straightforward, The programming would have to be custom, but that's about it. As long as you're prepared for the little things that always come up when you're the first to do something you should be able to do it for considerably less than the other packages you looked at. Just keep your goals realistic, if you walk into it thinking that you HAVE to have an 800HP monster, then by the time it's all said and done that LPE pricetag might not look so bad!

Feel free to let me know if I can answer any questions,
Ed

Yea I am 100% sure I do not want a 800rwhp monster. I want a 600rwhp reliable TT car. Do you think the APS Z06 kit could work on my car ?

I run my car @ 8 psi on the street and get 600 rwtq and 600 rwhp. That power is only there when I want it. The rest of the time it runs as stock. I don't see why you would need the Z06 version.
Call The LAPD @ 877 843-5273 and speak with Al. They have as much experience as anyone with the APS systems.

With some fabrication needed to make it work, I don't see why not.
