Whats your launch technique? My car is a mn6 and still trying to get my launch down, but my friend went to the track with me this weekend. His is an A6 stock except vararam and he ran a 13.4.

27psi and a good 3sec burnout after smoke, foot brake to 1600 and floor it.

Wow thats slow for an A6 BONE STOCK mine ran a best of 12.8 wich is still slow due to my altitude mosty... I did run a lot of 13.0-13.1's though and a few 12.9's and one 12.8 b4 the mods

Great run! Gotta support my nitrous brothers...even though i do it dry. No too shabby that we can run just as quick if not quicker than some of the blown C6's at a fraction of the price.

No I think I can get it done with the smaller shot, it was not a great run:

Spun a bit
over reved 1st
short shifted 3rd
short shifted 4th (car will run 127 in 3rd)

Jasons 05 went 1.58 with better tires I hope with better prep IE not a Midnight Mayham and a little tweeking will get it.

a 1.65 60' should get it done

But that last .143 may be tough to get

did you upgrade the driveline at all?

i think with a 1.60 you will hit 10.90 that.10 from the 60ft mark is huge in getting up to speed .. you have the mph to hit 10.90 just need a perfect launch..

my mickey drags radials should be here in a few days .. and my tex twin disc also.. if i can get to LAPD by next week.. i should be able to hit 10.70 min at 136-138 ( i ran 136 with my clutch slipping a little but..) ... I might have them change both output shafts while its there....

No but remember I am an Auto and a 2006 stonger rear
Autos seem "safe" in the mid/upper 1.6's but lower or 1.5s is when they start to break/bend stuff.

My thinking is if I can keep running 1.70 maybe 1.67's and get the shifts right it may make my goal 10.999, it has trapped 125 many times with less power and 1.71-1.73 60's.

Complete Mod list:
1lt ~3345lbs race weight NO options or added weight
A6 Stock they have the best gears the 4.02 first is great
Vararam
Nitrous Outlet Plate kit 57N 31F
Kooks 1-7/8 w/3" X pipe to 2.5" stock mufflers
Front Stock height and tires at 41psi
Rear lowered on stock bolts .5"
Shorter than stock BFG's small gearing advantage
Bfg's on front wheels 27psi b4 burnout each pass
Driver Mod aka many many passes

With this setup she runs 1.70-1.73 60's never better or worse
