Default My procharged 05 A4 w/roll bar (pictures)

Here are a few pictures of my 2005. It is procharged with a A4 tranny with a 3600 stall and 3.42 gears. This was at Moroso where I ran 11.40's and asked to install a rollbar. This is my set-up along with the hand controls I use to drive my car as I am a para and can't use my legs.

Awsome setup man, its great to see that a set back in life isn't slowing you down. Did you decide if you were going to do any motor mods? I know I talked with you about that a few months back. Just turn up the boost and meth and let her rip.

I have 42,000+ miles on this car and drive it everyday except to get my groceries as my saturn ion quad coupe does that for me. It has all the trunk space as my wheelchair slips into the back seat very easily with the suicide doors that come standard on them. It is now that I still want more RWHP than the 520 that I have already. I am letting Horsepower Sales in Pompano Beach, Florida build me a LS-7 stroker race motor. It is being installed this week and I should have it back by this Friday Nov. 26th and I can't wait to feel the power and especially the torque in it.

If you dont mind me asking...how much was the rollbar and installation? Is the swing bar required? I thought the rollbar in the back was sufficient.

I want a roll bar like that!! Where did you get it? Custom made? Does it bolt in or is it welded?

I was down at Horsepower Sales in Pompano Florida to see my car yesterday. I am looking at the end of next week (Nov. 2nd) to get my car back and I can't wait. Thanks for all the positive replies and that rollbar that is in my car is from Lingenfelter. You can call Jeremy/Roger for a price of the installation and I know that it is NOT a bolt-in but a solid fixture in my car. The side bars work great for me to get in and out of my car and especially into my wheelchair. That handle to the left side of the steering wheel are my hand controls and I use that 1 handle to control both the gas and the brakes. I PUSH forward towards the dashboard to apply the brakes and PUSH down towards the floor to give it gas. So when I preload my car at the staging tree I basically push forward to hold the car there AND SLIGHTLY down to give it a little gas and bring the revs up a little ALSO.

I'm having a 6 point put in with swing outs on each side. The rear bars will also allow me to still store my top in the trunk. they are also welding bars/brackets for harness on each side. Cartek is having it done for me...$2250.00.....Custom and welded in place

Charlie, you gonna make the Moroso Challenge on Nov. 3rd? Come show that baby off even if you don't have your break in miles yet.

The old engine or the LS-2 is on E-bay right now and has an opening bid of $2,995 with FREE shipping to the winner. The head unit "P" series is also on E-bay at $560. They both are ending Monday afternoon.

I just received pictures of my engine out of my car and the new LS-7 going into it. I am hoping that it will be done by this Friday 9th. I can't wait to hear that engine fire up for the 1st time.
Horsepower Sales in Pompano have been great thru out this engine swap and would really like to thank them. It is getting done the correct way and no BS with my build. Thanks guys, Charlie C6
