Default What Fuel System Mods Needed For Increase From 6 To 8psi?

I'm considering increasing the boost on my Procharger from 6 to 8psi. Right now I have the 48lb injectors that came with the kit. Would a Boost-A-Pump be sufficient or would I also need 60lb injectors?

48lb injectors will be fine with 8psi. Just need a retune for safety.

Which pump are you using now? Single Walbro without a bap will be fine for 8 psi.

I have the boost-a-pump and 60# injectors and no problems.

how much power are you making, I am using 60lbs and my tuner is telling me that I need smaller ones

I made 654 rwtq and 630 rwhp @ 10 psi as my max WOT tune. However,
on the street I run 8 psi which gives me 597 rwtq and 593 rwhp by using my e-Boost2 controller.
If your tuner is telling you that you need smaller ones it probably has to do with the duty cycle of the injector. I suspect that there are ideal efficiency ranges for injectors but have not seen the charts. The APS TT comes with sixty pound injectors and LAPD never mention that they were to big. I'll probably do some research the next couple days to learn a little more.

I just found the thread "stock injector size??" in the C6Z06 section, that you started, and it looks like I was right about injector charts and maximum duty cycles.
My car runs extremely well under all conditions. I can drive around town or on long trips and never have the TT go into boost and get over 30 mpg. I can also run the boost anywhere between 7 psi and 10 psi and still no problems. You MAY have a problem with a bad/sticky injector
