Default My A&A vortech kit is installed and tuned...

Well, my installer had a few bumps in the road getting the kit on and fit properly. However, Andy was just a phone call away to help get it right. Andy, you'd better get those new directions going. Anyway, on my bone stock 07 C6 MN6 with just my b&B bullet catback the car put down 548rwhp and 481twtq tuned for 93 octane on a dynojet. I am VERY happy with the power. Man this thing is a beast. My kit has the 3.8" pulley. I dont know what boost its running because I didnt get the boost guages, but I will have one soon. All in all, I am very happy with the kit, but unless you are a professional mechanic with a lift(MUST HAVE!!!) and all the tools you can think of then let the pros install this. It took my corvette specialist 4 days to install it with a lift and a partner. But all was worth it.

that is sweet!!!! I'm a very uninformed idiot in this case.. Is the 3.8 the standard pulley that comes with it? I just saw the price, the deal was ending that day, and I ordered, not investigating fully or asking about options.

I think he usually recommends the 4" pulley. I wanted the smaller one because I didnt have headers. Looks like I made a good choice. I added my dyno chart to my original post.

dyno looks awesome! I do have headers, so hopefully I will come out as nice with the 4" pulley. I'm really getting antsy waiting on my installation appointment! Dropping the car off next saturday, then picking it up a week later when I get back from SEMA!

Congrats on the install and power
I bet its fun to drive now...

anyways I installed my kit last weekend with my room mates help.
We started Friday night at 5 pm and got it down by sunday night in my garage..

I am hoping for around 580 to the wheels with my set-up of A&A corvette kit with 3.8" pulley and LG headers with Corsa Sport cat-back exhaust.

You should be right there if you are running 93 octane. Mine is tuned for 93. I ran at the track this weekend, and all I could manage was an 11.98@123. Thats with a 2.1 60" time and absolutely blowing the stock tires off on the 1-2 shift. It would stick like glue off the line all the way through 1st, but even granny shifting into second under boost caused the tires to spin and I would have to lift to avoid the dreaded wheel hop. Its a super fun ride forsure.

Congrats on the newly found ponies...I was on that list but had to back out. I opted for a nitrous setup instead.

Have fun with it and be safe!

I'm a little concerned about the pressure being used to obtain these numbers. I have the same setup in mine, but we limited my psi to 7 to avoid the inevitable blowups going higher. This is about 90 rwhp above mine. Granted, I have an A6, so we are starting about 50 rwhp down to begin with, but the other 40 or so has to be a cause for concern. You'd better find out what pressures you are running.

Mine shouldnt be more than 7psi at peak. The 4"pulley should be 5-6psi and my 3.8"pulley should be 6-7psi. There is no way its more than that. My tune is spot on and this should hold on the stock internals for a while, and if it doesnt then I have a great excuse to get the forged motor. Not only that, but this car is a super monster and I LOVE IT!!! To each his own. Goodluck with yours.

The air/fuel ratio is spot on. I'd be curious to know if FI vettes here utilize wideband gauges (on a daily basis) and/or knock indicators. If so what are you weapons of choice? I use both on my turbo'd Subie and the vette is quite a few pennies more.

I bought the NTK afx wide band for my car..
just got it on friday from ebay for $253 shipped, not a bad deal..
i am planning on using it to tune with my HPtuners...
my car has the A&A vortech kit, 60# injectors, KB BAP, racetronics fuel pump harness with LG headers, high flow cats and corsa sports.

this will be my first car i ever tuned (i did get a base tune from andy, which i plan on working off that tune)

I bought a great book called engine management advanced tuning written by greg banish, this is a great book and I highly recommend it..

I plan on tuning for a target AFR of 11.3-11.7 at WOT

Here's an 07 that I just finished yesterday. About 7# and nothing but a Corsa Touring exhaust.

I am going to have a new set of instructions finished shortly. We took over 700 pictures of this last install. I've got about 20 hours into the instructions so far. After I,m done with them, I'm going to have a professional go over them so he can highlight certain parts of the pictures, etc. I'm just not good at that sort of stuff.
I've also redesigned the intercooler inlet for a much easier install.
Anyone out this way (or not) looking for a deal on an install? Through Christmas, I'll discount the installed price by $750!
I'll even do an 08 LS3 for $1000 off! I just want to see if I need to do any tweaks on the LS3.
Thanks, Andy

PM Pio. I think he made 607 RWHP on a Vortech 06 Z06. I got a ride in the car and it pulls scary good.
