Default Fuel Pressure Question

I recently had a Paxton Novi 1500 installed in my car. I've got (2) gauges, boost, and fuel pressure. The boost gauge fluctuates as it should, but my fuel pressure gauge remains relatively fixed just above 60 psi, even when the car isn't running. When I start the car it drops down to zero, and then jumps right back up. Is this normal for the fuel pressure, even when the car isn't running?

ps: I've got Autometer Cobalt gauges.

Thanks guys I almost wish I had gone with the A/F gauge instead of the fuel presure gauge, no fun looking at a needle that never moves.

The problems come when it does move while your driving.

Better that than low pressure and toast your engine or you could have A/F and the useless pretty light show.

Supercharged? Bet your ass you run a fuel pressure gauge.

My gauge drops down to a very low reading. Are you sure the gauge is on a switched battery source?

I had a digital yellow green red air/fuel in an 03 Lightning that was modded pretty heavy & to tell you the truth with that one & especially the vet when into it no time for light show too much go & I need eyes on road & tach . Was a cool light show but some found it annoying .
