Default Blown Guys - Boost-a-pump or secondary ??

Blown People - I want to add a fuel delivery system to my Procharged
C6 - Who thinks its better to shell out the extra $ for a secondary pump - Further , am I correct in assuming the the second pump will support a HP bump in the future better than the KB BAP ?

The BAP is fine for a stock engine with a OE Procharger kit, the supplied pulley and tune.
Now if you start messing around with smaller blower pulleys for more boost/power then your BAP/stock fuel pump might be at their limit at your higher RPM's.

IMO .....If your plan is on a forged short block in the future to run more boost, a secondary fuel system, although not cheap, is definitely a better option as it will meet all your fuel demands without being overworked .
You can take the money for the BAP and put it towards your upgraded fuel system. There are many good ones on the market including A&A Corvettes and APS's fuel systems.

Here's the one I just made for a guy in NY with a soon to be 9 sec C6Z06.

I will have his car on my site when he's done in the "Vette Road Warrior" section

IMO you can never have to much fuel or pump! After all fuel is what makes power. All a SC, turbo or n2o does is give us the ability to burn more fuel by supplying the oxygen.

I haven't had a chance yet to see how maxed out a blown c6 with a stock fuel system & KB BAP is, but I would guess the duty cycles are up there. Especially considering some of these guys are pushing 600+ whp @ 6500RPM. The stock system just wasn't designed to flow that much fuel and safely support that kind of power.

If it were me I would get a High Output intank fuel pump to replace the stocker, if they are available, with a boost-a-pump and also add a secondary pump that will run when you tell it. either all the time or only when boost comes on via a hobbs switch. That is exactly what I have in my procharged Z and it has worked great so far.

RPM switch, for precice 2nd fuel pump control. I don't run out of fuel until high RPM's so instead of coming on via Hobbs boost switch when boost is sensed, I have it come on at 4500rpm. 1000 rpm before the engine needs the fuel.

Also, If your OEM intank pump ever fails, you can command the second fuel pump to fuel your engine until you make a repair on the OEM pump.
