Default APS/L.A.P.D. dyno results and customer service

first off i want to thank L.A.P.D.(AL,SHAWN,DOUG AND ALL THE MECHANICS) for the best customer service you can possibly get.to start off they got me in and out in less than 2 days like they said they would.they tuned, balanced my turbos, wired in the boost controller, set up the boost controller and put a KB boost a pump in less than 2 days.while that was being done AL which is awesome took me and my wife to a steak house and gave us directions to every place we wanted to go to.i cannot say how much i appreciate the hospitality.it was the best shop i have ever visited BY FAR! i not only gained a speed to take my car to but gained some good friends also, thanks to BRABUS2(RICHARD) ALSO, HES GOT A BAD A$$ CAR AND HES A GOOD GUY. i had to drive 1509 miles ONE WAY 3018 ROUND TRIP.would i do it again HELL YEAH. on top of all that they detailed the hell out of my car. Doug tuned my car real safe with 9 pounds of boost, and it made 551 rwhp,561rwtq.it drives exactly like it was when it was stock but way stronger and better gas mileage 36 mpg at 75 mph on my 24 hour journey back to texas.i just wish they was closer. i have alot of picks and a dyno sheet but i dont know how to post them can someone post them for me. THANKS SHAUN

Try NLP in Orlando, Geoff is an awesome guy and has loads or twin turbo install and tuning experience.

Hey Shaun....thanks for the kind words buddy! Likewise, I was very glad to have the opportunity to meetup with you and your girl. Too bad your short visit didn't allow for more time to shoot the sheit. Next time Bro!...feel free to call anytime!

Very nice setup you got, enjoy your HOTROD!

Good Stuff. Love that MPG you got on the return trip. Doug is the best tuner around and AL is always friendly, knowledgable and helpful.

Damn it's good to hear this......expecially the great "customer service" part. This is so hard to come by now days, and such an important part of the biz. Good customer service is impossible for me to find - in just about any business.

people still dont believe the MPG that these vets get with turbos as long as your not in boost.

Love the kit and the ALKY.....I wouldn't own a blower car in Texas without one. With all this heat, it's a necessity IMO. If you decide to get the kit, just have 21st Century Muscle Car in Dallas tune it.....they're somwhere up there by you.....and I've heard very good things about them

And yes, Jayson at MTI is responsible for the tune.....he's one of the best in the biz if you ask me. He tuned my previously owned blown C5 as well......completely stock LS1 and we got 550rwhp out of her.

WOW! Talk about a road trip! Glad LAPD got you the service you were looking for. I went to every shop in So Cal it seemed and NOBODY treated me as well as LAPD did. As far as technical knowledge went, Al was the best out of everyone hands down. Nobody even came close to what he knew. He did a sort of education training for me. He didn't talk down to me and took all the time necessary to make me feel comfortable. I can't say the same thing for another shop that isn't too far away from them. The guy didn't seem to want to even take the time to talk to me at this other shop. I think you guys know who I am talking about.

WAY TO GO LAPD!!!!

Those are the same reasons I chose LAPD. I also couldn't even get a quote from that shop up the coast from LAPD.

it sounds like jason at MTI knows how to tune ive heard good stuff about them.but as far as getting a alky kit tuned by 21 century muscle car, they will not tune or install APS kit because of personal reasons between lingenfelter and APS.i actually was going to get them to install and tune it in the first place and they wouldnt.im still trying to figure out what im going to do.i would hate for someone to tune over LAPDs tune when it drives so perfect.
