Dont know how much power from the blower, but with our cars I think you need about 500 or so rwhp to get into the 10's.That is with traction and quick shifting. Less if your a great driver.

Ranger got his bone stock Z into the 10's with drag radials, stock Z's average about 440 or so rwhp.

10.85 with drag radials - check out Rangers profile - he shares all the info. Again, his car is a box stock Z with the stock tune!!

i hit 11.2 with 490 rwhp, and i'm a terrible driver and it was horrendous conditions.
now, the real question, how the hell are yall getting 10s without getting booted off the track? i've thought about tearing up my car with a cage, but gg, that's a tough desicion!!

you don't need much more power from a c6z to get in the tens, the biggest variable is the driver. There are guys with 700+ whp who can't crack the 11.000 barrier and then there are guys like Ranger who can do it with a tire swap on a stock c6z.

that sounds understandable. i just thought since the z06 had more tq and low end that it would be a little different.

low end tq isn't really a concern when racing the 1/4 mile because you aren't under 4k much, if at all.
