Default APS System GT 3076r Turbos @ 12-15 PSI?

Deciding between the TTx system and the APS - my only concerns are the smallish GT 3076r turbos on the APS system with a forged bottom end. The TTx system allows larger turbos and a t3 housing.

What power levels are people making with forged stock cube motors @ 12-15 psi with the APS kit? I know a few people made big power with the old incon kits on the F bodies, but just wondering about the C6 system....

Thanks

APS says the C6 uses GT3076R's and the C5 goes bigger!

The C6 system does utilize GT3076r turbos.

Hope to have an answer to your question soon, just got my car back from the body shop last Friday....and plan on taking the car to LAPD sometime this week to get the high pressure actuator replacements installed....stay tune. The Forged Motorsport actuators weren't a direct fit as I was told would be, fortunately found another source thanks to Scott...hope this one gets the job done!

Go to zo6vette.com and search for "lingenfelter". 4-5 cars there built by LPE dyno'd around 850rwhp (1000eng) and have posted sheets. T25 housings and 50lb/min turbos on stock cubes.

100% Correct..........the C5 twin turbo system has larger turbine wheels and turbo housings than the C6 system to cope with larger cube engines that C5 owners are now frequently building..........the C5 twin turbo system has loads of in built flexibility to cope with 346 - 427 cube engines, all good.

Peter

They must be really big. The C5 is a T3 turbine. Since they are bigger than a GT3076R it will be a nice set-up for big cube motors.

Weren't you trying to fit some -13 CHRAs in the Incon stuff? It required a compressor cover change, correct? It looks like there is room for larger compressor covers in the C6s.

I'll give these Forge actuators another try, they really are nicely built. And, Geoff at NLP has been very kind and helpful to send some pictures of his install and has offered to take them back and test fit them personally....somehow or another they should work, cuz I need my daily fix.

You must be having a BLAST with your APS hotrod!!!.....nothing compared to your 9 sec. car tho...

-12 will fit. Too many issues changing the TO4B's to a TO4E though. The baby GT2871R's with TO4B and T25 took me to 9.9 at 141mph pushing 3800lbs....so they do get the job done.

I'm working on a twin T3 GT35R now

My car with the APS kit made 600 whp/ 620 tq with a small cam at 10.5 psi.

Right now I am less concerned with making more power and more concerned with putting what I have to the ground... then I'll look for more power. I wonder what I'll make at 14 psi...?

Since they neck down to a t25 opening, I'm using a custom manifold with a T3 flange.

I'm going to sell the Incon kit.

The C6 TTiX will make 800+ rwhp with the standard supplied turbos. It sports virtually the same PROVEN combination as the C5 kit.

A 3076r is by definition running a T3 frame. If it was a T25 frame the part number would be 2876R.
