Default Maggie + Meth = ????

Has anyone had their maggies sprayed with meth and retuned?

did this add power (reduce IAT?) if so ....any differences?

Thanks

We have sold and installed countless meth kits on Maggies by now. When we first started selling our meth kit we sold more to Maggie cars than any other type of F/I.
They average a 25rwhp gain just from adding the kit and tuning properly. It helps very much with the high IAT problems associated with top mount S/C's, and has been given the "seal of approval" from magnuson a few years ago. A customer of ours looked into it himself and posted their response.
Even if the tune is not made more aggressive and the meth is just added, it maintains the power you made on the dyno by keeping the IAT's down and timing where it should be.

Since the Maggie is the MOST inefficient FI system on the market,
it would make sense.

I have been preaching this fact on this forum for a while,
but people like to ignore the FACTS.

Congrats to ECS for making the best of a poor system.
I wish tuners didn't have to be politically correct and could post how they really feel about the Maggie.

I am SO happy that YOU got a CTS-V and a Maggie Juan.

1K.. My dear dear friend. How do you do?

Actually I didn’t purchase the Maggie. The Maggie came with the CTS-V I bought. I figured it would hold me over this summer while I had my new motor built. I’m looking at running a 440 LS7 head combo this summer in the CTS-V. Should be fun! In the mean time I thought I would look into an alchy kit – you know the maggies IAT tend to run a bit of a warm.

By the way .. did you happen to get a V as well

Wish I could have caught your post before the edit.

All I can say to you Whine is:
Enjoy the Maggie and the CTS-V.
You deserve them BOTH.

I am just trying to figure out who 1K works for. You say anything wrong about a paying vendor here and your ass is kicked to the curb if you are right or wrong. This guy can bash Maggie now (Callaway) and nothing? Makes you wonder.

I never said I dislike Maggies??
I just think they are for a certain type of client, or even more so for certain type of cars, like CTS-V's GTO's and trucks especially.

I know ECS has NEVER posted anything negative about the Maggie.

You guys are professional and have to remain politically correct on the net.
But,
I'm not in the business so I can speak directly.

It's amazing what multiple tuners will tell you about the Maggie when you speak to them in private.
