Hmm, I cant speak for everyone but I personally have not gotten to the track for the following reasons:

1) The closest track is 2 states away.

2) I need some type of drag radial.

3) It's friggin winter! Check back in the spring!

I am with you did not have my car back till end of oct and had tq converter issues and starting on new build with 427 m122 . I think It is a lot harder to get a good et with high hp weather it,s tt / pro/ or maggie . Just have not seen any tt turbo times. I ran 12.00 at 124.5 with 403 maggie and tq issues and still no traction. looking forward spring and new set up and drag tires.

Well,
I went last fall,
cold track, tire spin thru all of first and second, then halfway thru third.
Left the line off idle.
Stock F1's
2.8 60ft
8.7 @95.5 mph 1/8th mile
13.0 @122.4 1/4mile

I know there is a ton left on the table, but I'll be doing axles and drag radials for the spring before I go back.
545 tq at the tires can be a pain to control!!

Umm... ya think! Runflats + 2.8 60' time + 122 trap speed = 11's all day long!

Let me know when you are going back, cause I'm comming with you!

Yea, nothing to write home about, Tom, but I am guessing it has a few more mph and possibly low 11's, maybe even high 10's with some really good traction.
500whp should put me close.
(I also need ALOT of practice!)
It'll be nice to see what your car will do considering you make at least 100hp more!!

Absolutely! I am ordering my suspension next week, along with some rear wheels/tires. Are you running any suspension mods in the Z...? I hear ya about the practice, I've only ran the Vette once when it was stock, and it was my 1st time ever on the track! I need to talk to you about some tuning possibilities, I'll shoot you a PM later...

what tire are you going to run at the track I have ran the bfg 18 10.5 with my haed and cam and still had poor 60' times but they were new and i think I had too much tire psi. I ran them at 18psi and I think you can go down to 12 psi. I would like to find a 17 rim and tire

Probably something I can use on a stock C5 Z06 rear wheel... I hear good things about the BFGs...

Tom,
I've got a set of DTE axles, just need to put them in.
I am running a DTE brace right now.
I'm probably going with BFG DR's, 315-30-18 size, and putting them on a spare set of rear wheels.

dstage,
I agree, nice 60'!
Yes, which tires are you on?

My Brace will be put on in about two weeks when I get a chance. I'm a little worried about having to relocate the rear turbos on the car because of the brace, but I need it. I've never ran DR's cause of the vettes weak rearend and tranny on hard launches. Mines all ready leaking.

I'm trying to see how much power I can make on Stock bottom end, but car starts knocking at 10 psi. Think I need a fuel pump upgrade. Prob have to call APS
