Default Need some info...

What is the best overall forced induction for a c6? I am a big fan of superchargers but i have seen good results in newer turbos. I am not too big of a fan of the STS twin turbo (i still like to have mufflers... and i live in Cali. That brings me to the next question. Does anyone know of a good setup that will be legal here. I know that under extreme conditions, you have to upgrade the injectors, cam, etc. Cause of smog reasons, i cant do too many changes. Any info would be great.

A&A, LAPD and Synergy are in your neck of the woods. Perhaps contact them see what they have to say.

I think it's accepted that Andy at A&A is the West Coast expert on FI for the C5/C6.

Here is his contact info:

If CARB was not a concern,
I think the APS or TTi-X would both be great solutions for you.

The desired FI setup will depend on your application; street, drag strip, autocross...?? I had a Procharger setup for over a year, but now have the APS TT, my car is street specific and the TWINS are pleasure to drive even as a DD.

My advice is to give AL @ LAPD a call (818.998.3966) and ask away!!! LAPD is closing in on it's 10th C6 APS install, and soon to arrive are the C5 kits. They have worked on several STS kits, custom turbo kits on the C5s and on any given day you will see Evos or 300Z TTs on the lot...fact of the matter is, much of the turbo products in the industry are import specific and LAPD like to stay on the ball of things!

Well - I'm not really sure. I'm thinking of getting the A+A kit, but I'm not sure yet. I also hear ECS makes a good kit. And I wonder whether I should go with Procharger or Vortech (like with the A+A kit)

What would LAPD charge for an install and tune?

El Puto, (GREAT NAME BY THE WAY)

Please call us here at LAPD and ask for Al. He can offer you special forum member pricing for anything you do with us.

Thanks!

If that is a requirement, only the STS system (keeps the stock cats and emissions stuff in place) will possibly work for TT systems, as well as some S/C systems (not familiar with those). Go here to check on CARB legallity:
http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermk...es/amquery.php

Good luck!
