If I were you,
I would seriously consider a APS or TTi-X turbo over the STS.

I have driven both the STS and the the front mounts and I would defintiely go with either the APS or TTi-X.

Good Luck.

The Vette Doctors installed and tuned mine. We first had it at 500 rwhp, and than went to 600 rwhp. Car runs great with no issues.

I would look into the systems mentioned above, I believe they are all in the same price range now and all of them have their pros and cons.

Do a search when you have a lot of time to read .

Good Luck,
Jim

Good advice. He asked for a local installer, not an opinion on systems

Thanks for the clarification.

Maybe when you actually drive an STS,
and a few front mount turbo Corvettes,
you will have an opinion based on experience as well.
Until then.....

(Not that anything on the road can compare to a F-4. I'm green with envy.)

Hey, thanks, I am doing research, and just didn't see a lot of guys doing this system on the east coast. I am leaning towards the aps system, just like to check out all the options. I saw toms TT in action on the dyno and still get wood when I think of the POWER

Do you go to the OBI on Sunday mornings (with about 100 other vettes)? If so, we can arrange to meet up and I will give you a ride.

Hey Chris, if you want to FEEL the power, give it about two months to get a bit warmer and I'll let you take mine for a spin to see how you like it...

Vette Doctors Is the place. They have done hundreds of turbo kits.

If you are near L.I. then the Vette Docs is the place to go, if you are near the Jersey side we would be happy to take care of your install needs. We have plenty of experience with the STS kit including the only 9 second, STS kit Corvette out there.

I'd also say that the guys at the Vette Doctors are a class act and that their customer satisfaction rate is extremely high.
