Default If we run the same boost tt/ procharge /maggii

If we use stock motor or built and If we just chang TT / pro charger/ maggie and keep all at same boost say 7 psi and keep all else the same will we get #,s that match ?

From what I've seen....they're all close to each other in peak power at 5-7 lbs of boost (maybe 20 hp difference). Above that boost level, I think the TT and Centrifugals have the advantage.

TT's are driven by exhaust gasses and do not suffer the parasitic loss from driving a belt driven supercharger.
So, at the same psi,
the TT should make more power than the others.

I think what you're asking is would 7psi produce the same numbers whichever means you use to make the boost. The answer is pretty much yes, but the difference would be when in the RPM range you would see the HP and TQ peaks.

Roots blowers and TT setups would make HP and TQ peaks earlier, while the centrifigals would make the same numbers a little bit later. These are general statements, and specific setups could be designed for specific goals.

Hope this helps,
Ed

Not from what we've seen (several s/c "x" vs 2 tt "x" set ups on same dyno)... boost should equal boost, but it hasn't in these different apps you mention... the efficiency of the systems are larger than expected. Most of the tt systems take 2 more psi to equal the ATI/ECS peak rwhp figures could be the intercooler and how efficient one is vs the other. Or that IAT's are higher from Turbos because of design... however this is jsut speculation... Bust the S/C's consistantly make more peak rwhp, to answer you question...

But,
look at how much more TORQUE the TT's are making.

Not that I have to tell you Big,
I'm sure you already know.
