Default Invitation: FI Corvette Norwalk Ohio Track Rentail

One of the C6 guys requested that I make a formal post on this site inviting the Forced Induction C6 cars to the Track Rental event that I am organizing. I can't believe that I didn't think to do this before. All forms of forced induction corvettes are invited. Please see below for the details:

THE TRACK HAS BEEN RESERVED!!! If I can get 19 checks (checks won't get cashed unless we meet the target for 20 cars) by the pmt deadline, we are all set!!! The cost will be $85/car. This includes two lanes of racing (one slicks, one street tires) from 11AM to 4PM. VHT applied for both lanes. (Norwalk is by FAR the best prepped track that I have ever been to). The date is set for 5/25/07. If there are any local vendors that want to provide some level of sponsorship, please feel free to contact me. RPM has stepped up to be a sponsor and we would love to have more! Given the variety of systems that will be there, it will be a great place to generate new business. Someone suggested that this event, depending on the turnout could generate some external interest (i.e. magazine coverage)...would be kinda cool if that happened.

For all the first time/new track guys...the point here is not to see who is the fastest, although there should be some fast cars there. The point is to get a day full of runs in as many different combos of FI out there. Hopefully, we can all ride in the different systems to get a first hand look at the systems and the pro/cons of each that debate so much about. We need: maggies, maggies w/ spray, Vortechs, Prochargers, APSs, KB's, STSs, custom rear mounts, big cubes, stock cubes, short stroke, long stroke, etc (TTI will be well represented, with all shapes and size motors ). The more variety the better!!!!

My contact info:
Earl Harris
5082 Creekmonte Dr.
Rochester MI, 48306.
Cell Phone: 248-842-3309

I have 12 confirmation thus far:

1. Dan Divito
2. James Mosher
3. Nick Yoskin
4. George Gray
5. Bern Boyett
6. Joe Clay
7. Heath Jackson
8. Nick Steffens
9. Phil Heoffler
10. Mike Engle
11. Earl Harris
12. Mark (MDHMI)

The original field was limited to 20. When the confirmed count reach 20, we MAY be able to add 5 more, however I will leave it up to vote (confirme participants) as to who the addt'l 5 cars are. My goal is to get as much variety (different forms of fi, engine configs, tranny configs, etc.) as possible to make. This will provide a GREAT opportunity for us all to see the different variety of fast C1-C6 FI street cars.

For those of you bringing your families (many are driving more than 3 hrs to get to the event) and need to convince the wife and kids, there is a lot of family oriented entertainment fairly close to Norwalk (i.e. Cedar Point, Great Wolf Lodge? - one of the largest indoor water park and hotel, others).
