Default A&A Good Job....

Just thanking the guys at A&A for their work on my car.

Excellent throttle response and very easy to gauge the limits of traction
on the vehicle (to my surprise actually, but I'm not complaining) making approx. 750 RWHP / 700 RWTQ +/- on a conservative tune. Like I could complain!!!

1st gear of course is "what it is", but 2nd and 3rd are managable and it just gets easier as you go!!! It's supposed to anyway, but I was surprised at the very least, I was expecting the worst as far as traction!

What's hilarious is that it is so throttle responsive........and if you can drive like the "Terminator who stole it" (like a machine without getting all excited and emotional, especially during racing) the car responds and rewards very nicely. It "talks" to you!! Heh heh! Just my imagination! Anyway.....

Very smooth power delivery and amazingly quick. My biggest surprise was the ability to "gauge" traction and the very managable power delivery.

I think I could use more power and torque of course as usual (that's just my greedy human response to want more), but I think that I am in the "sweet spot" for this centrifugal setup with the head unit sizing etc. No throttle position to power "lag" and just awesome smooth managable delivery of power along the entire band of power as far as I am concerned.

If I ever decide to go with more power (I am not seeing myself wanting to on this vehicle platform), I would definitely go turbos, but I just wanted to thank A&A and express my satisfaction with the setup.

In summary, the vehicle feels like the road race car this particular vehicle platform should feel like in my opinion. I never did like the Corvette for drag racing, it just doesen't have the "potential" as compared to other vehicle platforms, but I definitely think for a RWD road race platform, the Corvette is among the best!!!

Thanks again Andy, Charlie, and the crew at A&A!

Congratulations on your STRONG numbers.

It's great to hear that someone is so happy with their combination and their tuner.

I have been hearing from multiple sources that they prefer the "predicability of traction" with the centrifugals.

Although I have LOVED the TT Corvettes I have driven,
you have convinced me that I need to drive both before ordering a system for my C6.

Thanks for keeping us posted on your expereince.

That is great news. What kind of tires are you running to get such good grip?

Most of the guys I talked to said the same thing. I mean traction is never fully predictable, BUT it's not so hard to gauge with a centrifugal.

I think for BIG POWER (650 + RWHP) centrifugals are great till about 800 RWHP. After that, forget traction anyway on street tires and say hello to the "ever constantly new" rear end and transmission parts with any kind of "real" track tire traction.

Jason at TSP is a cool guy and loves his HP turbo kit making big power, BUT he admits anything over that 750 RWHP/700 + RWTQ is "pointless" for the street and also admits that it (the turbo setup) was a 'lil laggy, but he is working out the lag portion as we speak. He hopes to pretty much eliminate it with his new car.

We will hear from Jason I'm sure, and I like the HP kit, but I am hesitant about getting road debris in the inner fenders from the cutting and install. All things aside though I think the HP kit has awesome potential!!

Good luck, you can't lose either way!!!

It's not the tires, I am still running stock sized C6 Michelin Pilot Sports.

It's just throttle control and sensitivity.

I'm better when I am by myself driving. When someone else gets in the vehicle with me, my foot gets heavier for some reason!!!!

congrats on the setup and the numbers, I'm glad to see the A&A kits get the recognition they deserve. Those kits make serious power on the C6 and for some reason people have been overlooking them. Andy and his crew are doing a great job

get some pictures up and a dyno graph, let's see that torque!
