The Magnuson supercharger doesn't fit under the stock hood but we do carry the RK Sport supercharger hood. That is $889.99.
Just give us a call at 1-877-4-TBYRNE (1-877-482-9763) to place your order! The toll free number is blocked in MA so our in state customers will need to dial 1-508-636-0770. You can also take advantage of the 90 days same as cash financing that we offer!
Are you to far away to take advantage of this offer? No problem! Give us a call anyway and we'll take care of you for the kit by itself!
What kind of numbers are you putting down with the blower on a C6? I only picked up about 100 hp when I had the maggie installed on my C5.
I picked up 128 rwhp and about 95 rwtq. If you have the need for more speed, you can always change out the pulley for more boost. You'll pick up another 25-50 rwhp with a pulley, depending upon the pulley and your setup.
Have fun!

Its only efficient to a degree. When I did the pulley swap on my C5 I only gained 10 hp. Wasn't worth the price of the install and tune.

That's true, but apparently the C6 responds relatively well to the 3.2 pulleys (3.4 is stock on the Maggie). I still need to dyno after going to the 3.2 pulley, but SOTP difference was HUGE! As Steve (Bushong572) illustrates above - a pulley change does net out a solid increase. Ed Parker owns a C6 Maggie as well and has seen a similiar gain with his pulley change. To be fair, George (1badasvt) didn't see quite as much gain with his pulley change, but he still netted a decent increase. Knowing George, he'll be eclipsing all of us soon.
Nonetheless, you should expect around 120+ rwhp with a C6 Maggie. Average rwhp with the 3.4 pulley is typically in the 470-490 range. It's lots of fun on the streets.

I assume the free installation also includes the after install tune?
Is this something that you can do while I wait (I know it will take a few days).
Good summery of the horsepower gains above
Magnuson superchargers include tuning. The factory computer would be sent into them to be programmed while the kit is being installed. If your traveling up, there are some hotels in the area along with rental car agencies.
Tbyrne,
Are you sure on the tune thing. When I was checking into getting a maggie last week, Magnuson said all installation matters are now done by Callaway. They do nothing about installation/service any longer.

In my research to buy a Maggie It has been determined that Magnusen has sold all rights to its 112/120 supercharger system for Corvettes to Calloway Cars Inc. All future kits will be supplied by them as well as the tune in the supplied programmer. The extensive reserch by Calloway has been seen in Chip Millers C6 that was published by many of the vette magazines. The product can only get better with Calloway behind it. T-byrne has really gone to great lenghths by providing free install and it shows their commitment to us here at the forum. I would like to request an update to what is going to change when these kits start flowing from Calloway. I wonder if the drop in price is relative to inventory clearance by Magnusen and if price changes are in order from Calloway. It would seem that more engineering would cost more money but these kits are set up now and the mystery of what comes next and how much is on the minds of all of us who are ready to drop 6 grand now. Please clear the fog T-byrne and Calloway we are all ready to spend.
I've been used to saying the tuning comes from Magnuson, it is now done by Callaway.
The Corvette kits have actually been shipping from Callaway for about 2 months. The transition was pretty seemless. There won't be any price changes (up or down). Magnuson had a price increase recently. That carried over to the Corvette kits too. Callaway is working on a supercharger that will be able to feed motors making big horsepower in the future. The current 112 kits will be enough for most cars and the 122 takes care of the needs of motors that are heavily modified.
Does the Maggie box tune adapt to a previous dyno tune?
For example, Kooks, hi-flo's, x-pipe (all purchased from you ) installed and dyno tuned. How would a box tune affect my current configuration? Wouldn't I need to have a new dyno tune performed?
I guess I'm asking, is the Maggie box tune only good for a stock C6?
Based on what you have, I'd have that tune updated at the same place when you are done. The supercharger can be ordered without tuning. That will save you $200. but it voids the supercharger warranty. FWIW - it's very rare that one of these has to go back because of a problem. You could run the long tubes with the "box tune" but a custom program would still be better.
Would you be having the shop that did the tune install the supercharger? Everything will be good if you are. If not, your current program won't work with the upgraded injectors that come with the supercharger so the car will need some help getting over there.
Seeing that we're not doing the install, I think we can take care of the Maggie/free hood for you!
