Chevrolet Interim Price Increase Effective September 29, 2008

Chevrolet will announce revised 2009 model year Suggested Retail prices effective with vehicles produced on or after September 29, 2008. The revised Suggested Retail prices will affect the Aveo, Cobalt, Colorado, Corvette, HHR, Impala, Malibu, Trailblazer, Equinox, Avalanche, Tahoe, Silverado, Suburban and Express. Dealer invoice amounts will increase accordingly. Dealer discounts remain unchanged. Dealer price schedules will be available in GM DealerWorld under Sales &/Or F&I Tabs effective September 29, 2008. Sold order price protection eligibility dates are dictated by the customer and dealer order dates as follows: -Customer order date must be prior to the date of the price increase. -GM systems order date (date dealer enters in GM system) must be no more than one work day after the date of the price increase. These units will be invoiced at prices in effect at the date of production; however, the dealer open account will automatically be credited for the price increase once the unit has been delivered. Generally, fleet orders are invoice price protected (i.e., bid center FBC order types, VQ orders). All other fleet orders will be price protected according to the bona fide sold retail price protection policy above. Refer to the price protection effective date on the invoice. Please file this administrative message with your 2009 model year pricing information. GM Autobook will be updated with the revised vehicle pricing in the next data release, data version 143.0, that you will receive in your automated update by Friday,October 3rd, 2008. Order Workbench will reflect the revised vehicle pricing at 8:00am on Thursday, October 2, 2008.
