I was not working for MP when any of these issues came up I was in Detroit. I can not speak as to what happened or who was or was not responsible. I can not change anything from the past. But what I can do is on behalf of Maxie Price offer a formal apology to all of the members that were affected and try to do all I can to make sure that it does not happen again.
If you are wondering why this was not done up front, I wanted to have a chance for all of the dust to settle before making this post so it can get the attn. it deserves.

You my friend are a gentleman. Putting your neck on the line for someone else's past indiscretions. Good luck!
It would be nice to see the owner of MP step up to this forum and offer an apology. It would be a show of support for you who has walked out on that limb.
How many times is this GENTLEMAN going to have to apologize for his employer's past indiscretions/mistakes? OKAY...I get it! MP made a few mistakes in the past! The owners of this AWESOME Forum punished them by kicking them off the Forum. If the owners of the Forum (which have a helluva lot more at stake than ANY members do) can forgive MP and give them a second chance, then so can I. I hope this is the last apology we see from this CLASS ACT! Good Luck Rick!

The last time I heard of Maxie, I was told he had a stroke and was in a wheel chair. He is quite elderly, so I suspect he has not had much to do with actually running the dealership. Is this correct? If so, then the dealership is likely being run by his kids.

Why is Rick apologizing for their past acts? He wasn't even there!!! The guy lands on his feet at MP and reaches out the members here and some are act as though he can rewrite what they did in the past .

Mr . Price was in a car accident about 2 years ago I think and now lives in Fl. with his wife. He broke his spine and has lost the use of everything from the neck down.

..good luck Rick! Don't pay attention to the people who refuse to let the past go, as long as you continue to be the same person that earned the business and respect of hundreds and hundreds of current and past Corvette owners, everything will work out.

Maybe you missed my point or I did not state it well. Rick should not have to apologize for MP issues. They should! At least try to clear the air over what some see as past problems. Me I only wish Rick well and good luck. Someone is running MP and they have to know there are issues real or not. They should address these to clear the air so we can move on. These post are counter productive to this forum but as long as the main topic (MP) remains silent they will continue. Sorry if I was misunderstood.
I dont know you but you seem to be a gentleman, that being said you've been selling vettes on this forum for a long time I'm sure you wouldnt just jump into a position with a dealer without knowing the issues at hand and without having a plan to earn back the sales..... you'll be fine I'm sure......
