My mom is looking at a 2007 coupe. All she wants is a blue with tan interior, Monterrey red with tan, or red with tan. Must be an auto. Does not have to have Z51, nav, heated seats or the likes. She is trying to please my father....
She currently has a 2005 350Z convertible, Touring car, auto, silver exterior, silver interior and blue top. Car has 20K miles, and is mint. They owe $27,750 on the car.
What can you get her into a new C6 for?
Feel free to email me at bkessler@1stclassmailing.com . She is not opposed to doing a 3 year lease either, 12K miles per year

Check Kerbeck Chev in NJ they have a big sale going on until 10/31/2006
Funny you mention calling dealers...
I call Kerbeck and you have to leave your name and number so they call you back. Answer the phone!
All I am after is a ballpark figure on her car and what they would sell a new coupe for. I can arrange the rest...the financing, transportation, etc.
An IM or email would be nice from a dealer who wants to work for a change instead of sitting around and waiting for folks to come to them. It's called Customer Service.
"Hi, I'm _________ with _______ Chevrolet. I saw that your mom is interested in a new C6. We would be happy to talk to you. Please contact me at _________" Rocket science right?
What do you want them to do? Give you a trade in offer on the Z sight unseen? Email you a quote without knowing for certain whether there's any options you might want? Search their database for a half dozen cars that might be close to what you want and pitch them all to you without knowing where your mother lives or how she is planning on paying for the car? How much time do you want them to invest in you when you won't even invest the time to make a telephone call?
Car sales has changed quite a bit in the last 10-20 years, but one thing hasn't changed: Every transaction starts with an interested buyer contacting a seller. Maybe there's a niche market for door-to-door car sales, or for dealers to start contacting everybody who shows the slightest interest in their cars... kind of like those LendingTree.com advertisements where "lenders compete for your business". But, car sales isn't at the point yet where computer-generated quotes can be sent for no cost. Car sales still relies on salesmen to talk to customers and sell cars. But if you aren't committed enough to actually pick up a telephone and make a phone call, then I'm really not sure how seriously they should bother taking you.
Plus I am sure they would have been more interested if the actual principal had been asking for the information instead of the kid.
Funny thing about this "kid". I have owned 7 Corvettes, been a Moderator for this forum up to about 2 months ago for 4 years or so. My mother came to me because of the contacts I thought I had here.
