I received a Letter from GM's Corvette Marketing Team concerning their intent with reference to the distribution of the new 2006 Corvette ZO6 model. It has been my belief that based on the allocation process that I would receive approximately 14 units for the model year which should end in June of 2006. The letter confirms that during Phase 1 of the allocation process,I should receive seven units between now and December 31st,2005. While this is a letter of intent and NOT a commitment, I have found GM to make every effort to supply the product based on their intent. I currently have eleven units presold and the remaining three allocations that I am expecting would not be available until May and June of 2006. If anyone is interested in securing an order on any of the three remaining ZO6 units that I believe that I will recieve, Please contact me at your convenience. I will be offering price protection to all of my customers based on the day in which we enter the order into the Vehicle Order Management system.
I will not be accepting any orders above that which we are expecting to receive.
We have currently reached sales for the 2006 model year ZO6 that are consistant with the number of allocations that we expect to receive. I will not be accepting any additional deposits to secure a position unless we find that we will receive additional allocations to meet that commitment. Our 2007 list is not complete at this point and you would be able to place you name on that list if you so choose.
