No, provincial sales taxes are paid when the car is plated in that province, if it is exported you should not pay any Ontario sales tax, maybe only GST.

Sorry GM Canada, is slow, as usual with Corvette. I will note, however, that US pricing corresponds to a $3000 USD price increase for a 1SB package over base MSRP for a 2004 model. This would have me suspect about $5000 Canuck bucks increase over '04, as 1SB is all we get package wise. Z51 should price out around $2300, F55 around $2600.
Remember, stick is standard($1750 option in '04), and HUD and CD changer are standard($1460 in '04), so equipment to equipment is around $2K, which is what I expected months ago.
In the US, the coupe has a 1SX package, (very basic), a 1SA package (regular equipment) and an upgraded 1SB package (dressed up) The 1SB package is something like $4360 upgrade over 1SX down there. Canada is only offering the 1SB package, HUD, CD changer, etc.
For the Convertible, there is a 1SA in the States, and a 1SB, which gives the power roof, etc. Up here, only 1SB.
Other than XM radio and museum delivery(US only), all other options available in the US are available here as well, with the exception that we only offer a dual roof package on the coupe, no transparent panel on its own. So you can load up the car with Nav, suspension, etc, no problem!
To summarize, other than the items mentioned above, Canada gets everything the US does, we just don't offer the stripped down packages on our cars.
Option prices for Canada are now available, as follows:
6 speed transmission is standard, automatic is available at no extra charge.
Body coloured roof panel is standard, unlike the US, we can only order the transparent panel as part of the dual roof package, at a price of $2030
1SB Package is the only package available in Canada, and is part of the base price in each car, as I posted a week ago.
Magnetic Adjustable Suspension is an option on both Coupe and convertible for $2525
Z51 Performance Package is available on both Coupe and Convertible for $2170, and includes G90, performance rear axle, otherwise another $555, on the automatic transmission
Polished wheels are available on both coupe and convertible for $1900
Navigation is also available on both models for $2030
Onstar is priced at $995, like on most GM products, and is available on coupe and convertible
Millenium Yellow and Magnetic Red II are an additional $1090, while Lemans Blue is only $435
Base Coupe is $67,395, convertible is $79,495, freight is $1100, for those who didn't see it last week.
Cars are available for November, coupe and convertible
