Great looking Corvette, Jim. I just read down through this thread and then hopped over to BaT. You got the big brother to my GS! I am absolutely enamored with the look of the 60th anniversary package. I love the look of your new ZR1. She is a beauty. GLWTS!

Good luck. Will be very interesting to see if BAT brings any premium. Couple very low mileage gray ones went north of $130k, yet when on AutoTrader they don’t seem to bring that kind of money. I have a guess on where yours will end.

BaT specifically preys on people looking to get out of their car asap, set it up to not meet reserve and relay the information to the highest bidder, which usually is a licensed retail pricing dealer posing as a private individual buyer. IE buyer doesn't pay the "normal people" BaT fee capped at $5k, and still get's a deal negotiating with the seller. Dealer resells for $5-10k higher and lies to your face the whole time saying it's going to a good home. Dude didn't even provide me with his actual real name, just a shady wire transfer and that the russians would be there in a week after to pick it up.
Good luck Jim I hope you get a good result

$80k even, which might be pushing it. Seems like the market has slowed except for the ultra low mileage ones. Those two gray ones went for $130k+ and one of them had the two tone interior. I’m starting to think I got a great deal on my 2010 red ZR1 with 356 miles back in December for $100k even.

My first C6 was in that color combo, I love it. And your car looks to be in fabulous condition.
Best of luck with the auction. I disagree with Themack about BaT, I did not have those issues when I sold a car there. However, that was before Hagerty bought the site, and I can see that things have changed.
The most annoying thing is that 95% of the people that ask questions will never bid, but you still have to answer them and be civil.

Reading online posts from others, BaT is huge for money laundering and tons of international money (Russia, Asia, Middle East) coming in buying the high end cars on BaT. It is what it is...

100%!! As Jim bought his car on BaT, I'm sure he knows but....if sellers aren't civil, engaged and answer the dumb questions, the price reflects it, so crazy!! Anytime I see an auction where seller isn't commenting or engaged, I know the buyer is going to get a great deal!! It's a soft market now but Jim's car will do well there. GLWS!! I'd say $78-82k. I'll be watching!!
