I'm sure OP used Mobil One or some good oil as you can tell he takes pride in his car. If everyone used Blackstone, including me, I'm sure we would be able to extend the mileage of our oil changes but I'll always stick to about every 5k miles. With all that said, I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy this car.
agree and nor would I be afraid to buy it. Oils are improved over what they were 40-50 years ago as well, better formulations and additives that can enhance protections. Driven regularly is a good thing in my opinion. I don’t personally worry as much about the miles or the indicator telling me when to change, i check my oil regularly and watch the color . When oil starts getting dirty, regardless of miles, ……. Etc. I’ve never had to replace an engine prematurely due to not changing the oil regularly enough in my lifetime. So i will stand by that. Everybody has their own standards in the end. Mine have worked for me.

Interesting your comment!! I bought my '03 Vette from Flint, Michigan! Also, I have been all over Michigan in the last ten or so years! One interesting place is the Gilmore Auto Museum! You can buy this beautiful WITE LTN and drive is home with a big smile...after you watch a rocket launch here!
