I have a good friend here in Prescott AZ who owns a black 2006 Z06 with 99k miles. It runs good and has a couple of small non mechanical issues (like HUD not always working). He told me he would like to get $25k for it but hasn't listed it anywhere yet. I told him I would put the word out on CF. Any interior photos? Did you need to replace the heads?
I think this car proves that not all C6 Z06's need heads replaced or valves. I've owned five (5) C6 Z06's and have not encountered the problem except with my first Z06 which just used oil when driven hard, I should have broken it in slower and never taken the engine over 6700 rpm (no need to). I believe it is all in how you break the engine in during the first 7k to10k miles. . Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving has used C6 Z06's for years and has not had to fix the heads on all their cars, what does that say?
