f80 m3/m4 are approaching used Camry prices $33-35k all day now. Market is VERY soft. Cargurus says vettes have dropped another 4-5% just since September. The value of something is what you can sell it for relatively quick not take months and months. Wait til they make these clowns start paying back their student loans.
no money for cars when student loan deferral resumes. RIP

If you take a look at some of the C6 ZR1's posted here in the C6 For Sale section - the ones that moved recently - seem to have sold in the $75- $85K range. To me - that gives an indication of where the market is right now.
I have an opinion on what is gong to happen with vehicle pricing in the next 6 or so months - but as they say - "Opinions are like a**holes - everyone has one". If the country goes into a significant recession in 2023, prices on houses, cars etc. are likely going to drop. Prices on things like food & fuel are likely to rise due to inflation and demand. If we don't go in to a recession, I would expect car prices to hold steady or trend upward.. The fact is that while there are still supply chain problems, IF you look at car dealer lots - they are starting to get some inventory. I'm not saying things are "great" - but I am saying that they seem to be getting better.
A ZR1 is simply not going to depreciate like a 2012 Toyota Camry - they were the top of the line C6 made, there were limited numbers made, and many people really LIKE the styling ! However - the C7 ZR1 makes more HP, and is faster (based on Ring times), and if Chevy does in fact release a ZR1 version of the C8 - that will almost certainly be faster yet....

I still think the C6 ZR1 was the best car built. Somebody will step up and buy this eventually, and if not, what a car to just keep.

I hope your deal closes. Way to go waiting for the right buyer. I have no doubt that the right buyer is out there. We've been very close to a number that would work a couple times. High end luxury items like these always take time to sell unless you fire sell. I'm not desperate or broke and I also like the car, so time is on my side. I still love driving it!

2012 Camry probably about as flat and bottom of the depreciated curve you can get. Same thing with older accords they aren’t dropping. Vettes down 5-7% since summer old Camry and accords down 0%

Majority of people don’t buy ZR1’s in the winter time, market for these will pick back up in spring/summer.

Hell, I just paid premium for a 2012. Can it go down? Sure. Do I care though? Not at all. I like the car. I don’t see it going down. I may be bias, but the car is worth it to me. There are other buyers out there like myself. GLWS.
