2011 Grand Sport 3LT M6 14k miles silver coupe (SOLD)
SOLD
Apologies up front for the long listing but I wanted to provide info that I'd want to know if I was a buyer.
After 9 months of ownership, I have decided to sell my 2011 Grand Sport. It's been a tough decision because this car is in such incredible shape. I have zero regrets buying this car because I have experienced owning one of these great C6 Grand Sports. However, I miss having an Auto tranny and want to sell while the market is still strong. My recurring knee issue helps confirm this is the right decision for me.
2011 Grand Sport M6, LS3 w/dry sump, 3LT, HUD, heated memory seats, NPP, glass roof, 14820 miles, mostly stock, clean Carfax/Autocheck, no open recalls, I have a copy of the Auto-Check from when I purchased it.
Looking for $40k firm (I'd love to sell this car to a fellow CF member). KBB shows trade in value from $38k-$42k(same for private party sale). Trades considered for a nice 4th gen Camaro A4 or maybe a C6 A6.
I've also listed the car on CarGurus for $42k and considered a "Good deal" and is $660 under market value.
VIN: 1G1YS2DW3B5106948
Here's the journey of this car from when I purchased it:

This garage kept car was 100% bone stock when I purchased it(except for the C7 repo wheels and window tint). I purchased this car from a fellow CF member who purchased the car from his son. Wife and I flew to Detroit to purchase the car. Rick(the seller) told us the story of when they bought the car in 2017 when he and Kevin(Rick's son) drove to Indiana to look at the car. The car was so nice that in addition to the car they purchased the sellers enclosed trailer to haul it home to Detroit. Rick said that this car has never been in rain and I had no reason to question that. I did drive through a little rain on my way home from a car show one afternoon. You can see in included photos that this car is in exceptional condition. There is a link to Rick's listing in the first post in the link above if your interested.
I've had zero issues with this car and everything works perfectly. No CEL's or any weird issues. It looks, drives and even smells close to new. Car has 14820 miles on it with a clean Carfax/Autocheck. Original window sticker, copy of build sheet, owners manual, both key fobs, 2011 Corvette brochure, receipts and records are included. I even have the original owners certificate of registration from 7/22/11. Michelin Super Sports are evenly worn, and have tons of tread with 6k miles on them. Front date code 3315. Rear date code 3016.
I'm VERY meticulous and perfectionistic(its a sickness). Here are things that I have done to the car:

I'm VERY meticulous and perfectionistic(its a sickness). Here are things that I have done to the car:
- dead pedal M2W switch for NPP (hard wired, no controller or car battery or remote concerns)
- upgraded to a 2012/2013 OEM steering wheel
- snap in lifting pucks
- powder coated GS wheels at 13070 miles
- Kenwood MDX706, Apple Carplay/Android Auto head unit
- back up camera and front camera
- full Z06 3" exhaust: manifolds from low mileage 2011 and mufflers from low mileage 2010
- 1/4" tunnel plate & Design Engineering heat shield (see pics)
- street tuned by Clyde Carlson for Z06 exhaust (USB drive with OEM tune included)
- ZR1 rear spoiler
- MGW shifter with OEM ****
- oil change 8/31/18 at 8683 miles (previous owner)
- oil change 12/6/19 at 10221 miles (previous owner)
- new clutch master cylinder 6/14/21 at 12775 miles - replaced as a preventative measure while TSB was still active, never had clutch to floor issue, kept original clear reservoir.
- new Duralast Gold pads 7/29/21 at 13070 miles - got tired of the OEM dust makers, I have photos of the original evenly worn pads with lots of pad left(sold them on CF)
- last Mobil 1 change on 6/14/21 at 12775 miles
- Dexcool change 10/22/21 at 14210 miles
- Napa Legend battery 1/8/22 at 14686 miles; previous battery lasted 3.5 yrs so no weird electronic issues with this car
- fresh Redline ATF in trans 1/28/22 at 14800 miles
- fresh GM 88862624 fluid in diff 1/28/22 at 14800 miles
- front bumper cover professionally touched up and re-cleared due to a rock chip I couldn't live with. (perfect paint match and same paint used on rear ZR1 poiler)
- 5/8" long crack in the glass targa top on the passenger side. (details and pic added to post #2) I've ordered some Methyl Chloride and intend to repair this.

PLEASE DON'T QUOTE PHOTOS.
Crack in polycarbonate targa top is 5/8" long. I had forgotten about it due to being on passenger side. It's barely noticeable until the light hits it just right. I've ordered some Methyl Chloride and intend to repair this. Apparently, this is a fairly common problem.

Beautiful car. I just posted my cammed E85 A6 GS for sale. I do miss the manual, if yours was cammed and with similar modifications i would have considered a trade..good luck on the sale.

Funny that I have someone from Detroit reach out to me and talking about flying down and driving it home.

That's a great price on a very desirable car, and low miles too, someone's going to grab it quick. GLWS

Thank you. There's interest in Detroit and CA. It's ironic that wife and I flew to Detroit and drove this car home to Alabama. The guy in Detroit is considering flying down and driving it back to Detroit.... hilarious.

Nice. I had a 26’ wide by 36’ deep garage built at our last house. Sold it to buy our current place. Going from 900 sq ft to 500 is rough.

I remembered a crack on the glass top and add the details and pic to post #1 and #2. It's something that I rarely notice and forgot about. I went ahead and added some nice photos to help offset the bad news. 😉

Wow what a beautiful C6! Those rims really set it off.
As others have stated, awesome garage. Hopefully someday I'll have similar for my Vette and Tacoma.
Best of luck with the sale and finding an auto that suites you better.

I realized I had no pics with top out. I've also added a few photos to post #2.
