a carbon custom is not a carbon limited which was controlled by Chevy as how it was configured but was custom ordered from the factory in carbon (cfz) and ZO7 rpo. There were 252 carbon limited in 2011, there were only 33 ZO6 in CRM ld which there were only 7 in CRM

It’s a C6Z with the 3LZ, Carbon and Z06 Performance Packages (which is basically the Z07 package) - you can see the package options on the window sticker.
Essentially it has similar options to the 2011 Carbon Edition, which came in Supersonic Blue and Inferno Orange only.
He bought the Carbon package which added a black CF roof, black CF side-skirts a body color ZR1 style spoiler. Does not have the B92 CF hood, it also has the Carbon Ceramic brakes , Z07 suspension settings and he chose CRM as his color, which is rare with these package options.
The limited “Carbon Edition” (again in Inferno orange and Supersonic blue only) had the B92 Carbon Fiber Hood, a body colored roof, black/carbon flash side mirrors and headlights) and body color ZR1 style spoiler
I guess the “Custom” part for this car is the CRM color and the mods/upgrades he has done - wheels, stereo, etc.

thank you fir the much better explanation. “Custom “ refers to not the mods but that it had to be Custom ordered and was not a standard factory rpo or production configuration
of note on the production sheet you will see it’s a ZO7. But this is not a Carbon limited edition. Thanks

I agree that the CRM is rare in a Z06, in fact, this is probably the 1st I've seen. I've owned/ been in the Corvette scene since 2008 and seen CRM in base C6 cars, but even with those not a common color.
