Default Are there 2012/2013 z06 with z07 here?

I have just sold my 08 c6z and would love to have last years of it with z07
Must be production date > 03/12 with z07
Must be black interior with black, gray, night race blue or maybe red (except crystal red) exterior
Prefer <40k miles
Do prefer heads fixed by reputable shops and spun bearings mitigated for 2013 cars
Budget $44k

Thanks for offers via PM

Yes you can find a couple in the classifieds, but be prepared to pay far more.

And there's always the thought that the engine will spin a bearing because 2012-2013 had composite bearings that seemed to have a higher failure rate. I had the most amazing top of the line 2013 Z06 Z07 and it was on it's 3rd stock dealer installed engine in 10,500 miles on the chassis. Both engines prior had spun a bearing and I'm not driving it hard by any means. For a $102k msrp car the reliability was terrible. Oh and that engine cost $22k to remove and replace.

It is not actually easy decision which Vette to have next and there are 16 GS w z07 FS for about $52k
But in love with c6z and I want it as a keeper actually
LS7 reliability is horrible, I have to pay 3x more e.g. for fixing heads :-( here in Europe
To have to deal with bottom end is financial suicide, but avoidable by 3rd party extended guarantee

Good info to know.....You mean the engine failed a couple of separate times before 10,000 miles ? That's nuts.

yes it was on it's 3rd dealer installed 100% brand new factory ls7 on 10,500 miles on the chassis. The first 2 engines spun crank bearings.

but it makes perfect sense, bad batch of engines failing early - simply replaced by another from same defective batch

should be OK if last engine is over 10k miles, or not?

I would think so but who knows. Get an oil analysis annually.

simple if you cant find the car with the heads already fixed just have one of the top shops fix it for you before you have it sent over,, matter of fact AMP down in NTX has built C7s and sent them over to the middle east somewhere

thank You! Yes it is feasible, yet complicated. I have an agent to cash&collect&dispatch to Europe having its own processes.

heads not fixed is not a problem if the price is right

The 2011 Carbon Edition is the perfect Z07. 2011s have the best sound and make the most power (over 10 at the wheels) due to the ZR1 intake and exhaust. They added the extra cats in 2012 making the sound more mellow and robbed some horsepower. I haven't had any issues with my LS7 but have an extended warranty not just for the engine but all of the ZR1 components like the magnetic suspension.
