Color i believe is Magnetic Red II. Same as mine.
(Monterey Red was quite a bit darker...)
At least it looks like it to me from the pictures.

No, the color is MONTEREY RED aka Red Jewel, since the ground effects were painted to match, I know what color my car is. NOT the same as yours.

Mine is Monterey Red, and if all of you don't mind. Stop debating the color of MY car, I know what color it is, so if you don't want to buy it, don't post!
Mine was manufactured late in production and is the 2006 color Monterey Red which only 359 2005 Convertibles were made that color.

If your not wanting to buy it and want to debate colors, start your own thread and stop posting here about the color of MY car, I know the color of MY car!

Here is the production information for 2005 and 2006.

2005 color 80U Red Jewel aka Monterey Red for 2005.

2006 color 80U Monterey Red aka Red Jewel, same color, different name for the 2006 and later productions.

I spoke to the Corvette Museum extensively about this, they explained my car was essentially a 2005 1/2 because it had some 2005 options and some 2006 options but since they do not do half years, it is a 2005.
Stop the debate now.

2005 Production Colors, 80U same for 2005 and 2006 but just a different name.

2006 Production Colors, 80U is same code for 2005 and 2006

Wasn't debating/arguing about the color, was making an observation as it looks the same as mine, and MINE IS Magnetic red II. (86U)(Early 2005 A4 car) Apologies for any offense for my reply...
Again, good luck with sale.
. GOD BLESS
