I live in San Antonio TX, and I am looking for a near stock C6 Z06. Preferably with the valve guide issue taken care of, or priced so I can take care of it myself. I Live in San Antonio, but would be willing to travel a few hundred miles to acquire the vehicle. $40K is my spending limit, money ready to go.

I have. There currently have a 2013 carbon edition z06 they have for sale now I was checking out. It's a bit out of my price though. Also, I'm not a huge fan of dealerships. Did they seem pretty reputable with you did business with them?


A Z06 like that is the EXACT thing I am looking for. It's a shame it's almost December, or else I'd simply fly up and if everything worked out with the deal, drive it back. I've never dealt with shipping a car, and I would have to do some research on it and get back to you. I've heard some horror stories with shipping cars.

I've got what you need, and I only want $30K.

2006 C6Z, Machine Silver/Black interior
55,XXX miles / 17,XXX miles with the mods
WCCH custom head work and a modest street cam (236/244 112+3 LSA .640/.640)
11.4:1 CR - all the usual stuff, port n' polish, 5-angle valve job, stainless steel exhaust valves and bronze valve guides.
Pfadt 1 3/4" Try-Y Headers (Head & Cam specs are matched to this header for max power under the curve)

Everything else is stock. Stock intake side. Stock exhaust. Stock body.
I have a ported MSD intake manifold collecting dust that I'm willing to install and have re-tuned for the new buyer if they offer the right price. With a CAI and re-tune, I'd expect 50-60rwhp gainsbased on what I've seen these ported manifolds putting out. Seems like they guarantee 25rwhp in stock form and 35+ with a port job. That same exact manifold put down 50-60hp on an LS7 engine dyno, so I know it's good for 35rwhp all day long.

Car makes about 520rwhp and runs great on just 91 octane. Like I said, with the mods and re-tune, I'd expect the car to be @ 570+ and 530+ TQ, which is more than enough for anyone w/ a hankerin' for speed.

I live in Toledo Bend area about an hour south of Shreveport. Car is in Texarkana, TX at this very moment but for a serious inquiry I can bring it down south.

Alex--I have decided to sell my 2009 Z06, Blade Silver w/Dark Titanium interior, 19k miles. Purchased from original owner in Lubbock two years ago for $40k. Valves guides addressed by American Heritage Performance this year. Nearly stock, this car has many mechanical/appearance improvements. $50,000 invested. Will sell for $39,500.
